So maya has ventured into world of film interesting. I love her response to the star of the movie.. and the difference between a spoiled idol and herself.

Yeah, it's great to see how hard Maya tries, even if it's a supposedly "tiny" role... Interesting contrast between her and the main actress! They should switch roles. The director wouldn't be so troubled, that way, at least. XD

Makes me mad to see the main actress bagging the role because she's popular but has zero acting skills >__<

How is she paying for school now? Is her mother still paying?

Maybe Onodera shouldn't have destroyed her troupe then. Really hope continues in giving Hayami the cold shoulder.

Maya really is a method actor isn't she.

Emmy sucks, they should give that role to Maya.

I'm loving Maya's determination, even though the role is so small. Actress to the core, no role is too big or small.

I'm loving this show with all of my fiber.

You truly can see the appreciation Maya has for receiving the role, even though it's such a small role. When compared to Emi, the difference is like night and day.

It'd be neat if the director's gave her a bigger part, but I think she needs to start out small for now. She's got a small role now, but the staff is witnessing first-hand how dedicated she is to acting. That alone could get her a bigger part in the future.

Looking forward to more!

I like how they adjusted some of what would be considered "problematic" in today's standards while still keeping it the same somehow. In this one, it makes more sense than the 80s version which the teacher pushed her off the stairs. Also like how they fleshed out some of the scenes in the 80s and rushed the scene that the 80s version fleshed out. It's an interesting contrast and it doesn't feel like a exact copy.
