THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
After watching the first two episods, i have to say that i'm impressed. I noticed that no one had made a discussion for this show, so I had to. Simply fantastic so far.

Agreed!

That girl (what's her name anyway?) -- the one with the boyfriend that didn't bring the lunchbox to Maya... She's such a jerk. D< I felt so bad for Maya, also; her mom is just horrible.

Hopefully Maya stuns the audience with a really awesome performance.

Need a lot of courage to watch this..

Most of the parts is so embarrassing to see that I almost want to close the window that I'm watching.

lol

Hate that girl that couldn't even take the bento to Maya.

Also I kind of see where her mother is coming from by not wanting to go see her daughter but it was still terrible of her.

Maya's learning who she can count on to be there for her.
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

I can feel it. The passion, the strong emotions. This show is great.

I can somewhat see why the mother is hesitant to view her daughter being laughed at by the audience. Even though she is playing a character.

Why is absolutely everyone in this anime a fucking asshole? As if that terrible mom wasn't enough, now a Gendo Ikari-ass motherfucker joins the cast. It doesn't bode well that the only non-hateable character besides the main one is a crazy old stalker lady.

I've been told the show gets better after a few episodes, so I'll stick around. But this shit is infuriating! Just be happy for her that she's a talented actress and is passionate for a hobby, instead of bullying her non-stop!

Too bad Maya's mother didn't come to the show, above all, her lunch has been thrown in the trash. How cruel.

This episode was much more gripping than the last. I think it will be interesting to see how the dynamics set up in this episode will develop.

To a certain extent I can understand where Maya's mother is coming from. Maya, up until this point in her life, seems to have not done anything entirely remarkable. She's clumsy which leads to her messing things up, alongside being someone who gets distracted easily causing her deliveries to be late. I can understand how frustrating it is to see how your only family left is seemingly going nowhere in life, instead becoming a laughing stock.

I do hope that her mother will become someone capable of supporting her daughter's future endeavors, and that Maya is ultimately successful in her career. She has a long way to go though.
