| if anyone comes across a good place to get the DVDs let me know, esp if their uncensored. also if any one finds a link to an uncensored stream that would be great too. DVD 1 comes out- 12-21-2007 im pretty sure us in the US will have to import them. |

| Haha, saw your post on Moetron, Crisu. At least I think it was you. Anyway, the censoring of the bloomers was probably a marketing ploy. It's one of the more revealing scenes because there's nothing between the audience and what the pervs wanted to see, except a censor bar. It'll make those people go after the DVDs and see what really happened. EDIT: And how fast before that video gets flagged :P |
| Yeah, it's me. :P I'm probably the only Crisu that floats around various blogs and entries. I use the Antenna a whole lot. You're probably right about it being related to marketing. Or rather, it was a good justification for anything questionable. Perhaps the bloomers could have made it on TV, but there's always a little doubt about -someone- getting upset. So you might as well block it if it means more anticipation for DVD sales. LOL, I never thought about it violating YouTube TOS. I mean.. it's just animated. XP Heh heh. |

| the panty shots and such aren't what's so annoying with the censors, it's the fact they censor our the dialog also. I just finished watching the series.. ends well atleast wish they'd do a full 26 ep season though. =( |

| If you're talking about the end of ep1, they're not even panties, but bloomers -- what they wear during P.E. It leaves me to think that some censors are probably marketing strategy for the DVDs. If they already have to censor the really bad stuff, why not do it a little more so you're more inclined to buy them? That, and I guess they might as well censor for the benefit of the doubt; although that one flashing scene didn't have much, somebody was bound to complain. So you might as well not show it at all to be on the safe side. |

| You can tell the difference if there isn't any sound effects (barking or chirping) over things that characters say .. or if there aren't those huge censor cards where Rin is rotating the orange circle with the character の on it. Anon has released the subs for DVD eps 1 and 2, but I hear from a friend that the translation is average, so I'm waiting on if another group subs it before downloading. It shouldn't take long for a group like Genjo to translate the few missing lines and reuse the same subtitle file, since the rest of the episode is the same. |
