Because everyone says that from now on it's a disappointment, I wont get to that conclusion until I watched it. I have a feeling though that just like before without Light's psychopathic side this anime was a bit of a let down but still up there high. So now without L it will be even worse. I will hope that it wont be terrible. This episode was quite interesting, it's a shame that L had to die ;-;/ Farewell. |

Another interesting parallelism between this series and another series, Bakuman: L reminds me a lot of Eiji Niizuma. They both have this odd way of sitting, sort of creepy, like severe geeks and both are extremely intelligent, and surprisingly physically fit. The other parallelism was between Ryuk and Akira Hattori from Bakuman. I can't help it, but they have some physical resemblances. |

| That was an epic episode! I can't believe Light got Rem to kill Watari and L and thus himself! Rem fading away was just as sad as those two dying! I'll miss them all! The homoerotic foot massage/towel dry scene between Light and L was kinda hot lol. |

| RIP Rem and L. I really wanted Rem to kill Light cause I just can't stand that everything goes his way. He angers me soooo much. But I knew she would do what would make Misa happy. I'm gonna miss L. :'( I liked him a lot. I wonder where the story will go now?? I just want Light to die violently and slowly. |

| This episode was so heavy from the very start, the air was thick like never before. Ryuzaki's intuition was perfect until the very end, he was feeling his death coming despite he couldn't figure a way that'd happen. Darn you, Light. Light failed once more, leaving the page with a missing piece in the notebook, was he so arrogant thinking he'd succeed even if he didn't cover up his tarcks? The Funeral is a really important scene, I still don't get why it was cut. |

| As soon as I saw L looking all sad in the rain & the foot rub I knew he would die in this episode. Wow, what a powerful episode this was! I was glued to my seat and speechless at the end. So gutted about Rem, Watari and of course L. Really enjoying this so far though, Light's descent into madness is fun to watch. |
| Really well-written episode. Strangely, I was much more sad to see Rem go than L. |
