| The best Plot twist of the series so far and I would dare to say that this episode entered my top 3 episodes of this anime I loved the atmosphere of this chapter, in general everything |

| The rain scene where L said "it'll be lonely, won't it?. Did he know he was going to die soon? Surely this isn't over though right? also that foot rub scene has some serious tension, Jeez |

| Oh, well, those flashbacks and multiple symbolism made very clear what was happening in this episode, and its title to begin with... "Silence". Yeah. Perfect choice, honestly. At some moments watari looked like a glukkon from the Oddworld series. Rem... finally saw right through Light. Uhm, yeah... the rooftop rain scene. NGL, even for someone like me that was team Kira since day 1, it was sad. " The sound of bells?" "Have you only been telling truths since you were born?" L wasn't a good guy either, he played dirty too. But i won't deny he was a great opponent. "Everyone, the Shinig..." and the best moment of the soundtrack returns. Light won, but could have still lost at this point if he wasn't so good at acting (and the despair of the police members fearing it was their last day on Earth as well was bone chilling too) I loved Rem. Made me sad to see her go. *tear* agree. My rewatch ends here. Until this point, it's a easy 10/10, coming from someone that as favorite anime genres has some very different from this one. |

| Ended my rewatch here. but honestly this is the peakest episode ever in death note. Lot to breakdown, but the creepiest moment was when L realised Light fucked him up. The closeups are fucking uncanny creepy. Best juxtaposition of refraction of someone's face i have seen ever even after all these years.    This is probably the most peakest artistic stuff. Id love to see it used in a live action movie some day.. Cant forget this  I am not gonna break down the plot, but this was a nice anime only addition  "Light, have you ever told the truth from the moment you were born?" Such a simple line but brings dimensions to both Light for being completely shaken by it and L for deducing it. Light only can say everyone lies in a blatant way to disguise the obvious, he has told lies, but unlike everyone, he has never been truthful ever. That rain scene was probably the best use of imagination and creativity ever. (aside from the foot massage, which I find as a guilty pleasure :) ) L should have tried not to reveal his plan, coz that was what got him killed by Rem. Rem who??? but bloody awesome yo. as a rewatcher, i suggest u stop here, other than voice acting, id rather i stopped here too but oh well, FOMO i guess. |

| L was the best character in the show. Don't think it can work without the mind games and suspense. |

| The twink nooooooooo! I think L drying Light's his feet was sort of a bible reference (but gay) and I feel like L will be resurrected somehow. |
