| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Most of this episode is Solomon trying to win Saya over psychologically. His words villainize the Joel that created her, but I wonder if there’s more to the story than just that. I’m guessing that each generation of Joel is trying to correct the original Joel’s mistake in trying to create a new race. And if Saya was indeed born in 1833, then there have been many generations of Joels already on the job. Also, the thirty year sleep that Solomon mentions roughly fits with the timeframes that Saya was awake. Thirty years ago would be the Vietnam War, thirty years before that probably lands us somewhere during WWII, and thirty more years takes us to the Russian Revolution time period. |

| ShanaFlame pretty much summed up everything about this episode nicely. I like how the story is slowly being filled in and not being rushed. | 4/5 The episode was a bit lackluster compared to previous ones, I found dilaoghi a bit too simple and biased, easy to refute, that's why I see the evil eye comportamneto Saya that lets you easily bribe without responding in kind to certain insinuations. Plot that despite not happen this time either nothing, scored another point, by inserting in the history of the dubious position of Riku serving us and he and his sister on a silver platter. Curious to see how the story will evolve! * _ * Narrative I have not found very engaging this episode. Drawings and animations that maintain a good level. |

| Saya and Diva being created, from a failed (or not) experiment, it's an interesting idea (as opposed to just exist as some mystical creatures). And I still don't understand why some are human looking and others are just brainless monsters... A lot of symbolism with the colors too. Saya's eyes are red, working with Red Shield, likes red roses. Diva's eyes are blue, her Chevalier had jewelry with blue stones, and she is surrounded by blue roses. Also there were purple roses. And you obtain purple when you combine red with blue... Damn... only the Chiropterans can hear Diva's song. I was wondering why Riku can hear it too o___o I really really really hope he's not dead. Because if he is, she's gonna loose it for sure this time. |

| jesus christ this is literally the 3rd time (and 4th overall) that i've watched this series in the span of a year, covid-19 and depression are kicking my ass LMFAO this and ep 22 are two of my favorites, the scene where riku is lured by diva always takes my breath away for some reason, her voice is so enchanting |
