| Alright I like Suzuhara but I'm not sure if I'll like him in a pilot dynamic. That is, if he really is the 4th child. Moving on from that, this episode really didn't focus on too much else. The obligatory Rei scene was adorable as was Asuka trying to charm Kaji and then just freaking out. There is one thing that is ticking me off though. Everything adds up to Toji being the fourth child though, all the conversations leading up to it etc. Anyway, he seems rather depressed about it, unless he's deciding if he really does want to be an Eva pilot. |

| Things have become complicated. Ep 17. Plot-Things have become a little darker. Gendo's plotting while an Eva is destroyed. Doing so pulls in new pilot, The Fourth child, into the mix. However the tips about the Marduk Institute, the place that chooses pilots, and Shinji's school casts even bigger shadows on Nerv. Character-Touji receives the spotlight pretty much guaranteeing involvement in the battles to come. Though I wonder how the recruitment went... Shinji seems oddly normal after his berserker ordeal. He was even funny. And Rei's emotions continue to develop. So cute. 4/5. Things are moving forward. Whether it's good or bad remains to be seen. |

| -Rei displayed emotion again, this time of gratitude. I'm curious what will become of her feelings with Shinji. -Shinji's sync rate dropped after the previous incident. I don't think it has to do with him becoming less broken. -Gendo comparing their city to paradise and framing it as a "New Garden of Eden" had fit with some of my symbolism analysis from two episodes ago. -I'd like to know exactly how they're selecting candidates to be Eva pilots. They all have a tragic past, but I think the same could be said of most survivors. |

| Seems Suzuhara will be the 4th pilot, and he doesn't seem too happy about it. At first I didn't really understand why Shinji would have a problem with him being the new pilot, but then I realized Piloting an Eva isn't exactly a safe career, so I guess it makes sense. |

| The scene with Hikari and Toji was adorable, i wonder why they called Toji maybe he is the fourth child or somthing about his sister, still wondering why they need kids to pilot those eva's. |

| I guess the class rep might have a crush on Toji. I hope everything goes well for her. I wonder why he was called into the principals office? I doubt he's the 4th child. Every moment kinda points toward him but I just don't see it. I wonder if it's about her sister. Did she die? Toji seemed kinda depressed when he returned. Seeing Rei blush warms my soul. Need more Rei. I wonder why she doesn't bother cleaning it herself. You would think she would be the clean type. Rei also seems to be developing more emotions. I like it. Marduk Institute doesn't exist? So Nerv is choosing the children? What are the qualities needed to become a pilot? Also what happened to Unit 04 and the base? Vanished? What?! | Rei is more cuter for every episode. She blushed for Shinji. That's something. Also, class rep, it is pretty obvious you have feelings for Suzuhara. Anyway, I hope something more happens in the next episode. This episode had almost no plot. Nothing surprising. Except Rei. |

| It looks like Suzuhara's the 4th Child and he's not very happy about finding out about it. The class president really wants to get out of the very minor supporting role she had and forged a cute relationship with him by making him lunch but that only raised some death flags for me because stuff's going a bit too well for them. Shinji had the initiative to clean up Rei's messes and she accidentally gave her sincere gratitude to another person for the very first time. Even though he lives with Asuka, Rei's definitely winning the best girl position so far. |

| Good episode. A little slow and not much happening other than the disappearance Branch 2 and Eva 01. Also, Kaiji is such a playa XD Already have a feeling if Kaji is the Fourth Children. He wouldn't last long I feel like it. Also this episode has full of Kawaii red faces and some derpy moments. I was like what XD |
