 The official site for anime series Yami Shibai has announced that a second season has been green-lit and will begin airing Summer 2014. Some of the staff that will be working on the second season were also revealed.Staff Director: Takashi Shimizu (Director of The Grudge movie series), Noboru Iguchi Script: Shouichirou Masumoto The first season contained 13 episodes which aired July 2013 and ended September 2013. | Yeah, I saw this on ANN and I'm pretty excited about it. I quite liked the anime, despite some episodes not being as good as the others (the photocopy machine one with the teacher was a bit of a cheap scare for me, but the elevator one scared the fuck out of me). |

Those culture-spreading primetime anime usually get government funding or something similar. |

| Very good news! I just watched Yami Shibai and quite liked it, one of the creepiest anime I have seen and I love horror fiction, so glad I decided to watch this and I am glad to read there will be more of it. |
