| Ogata Megumi confessed in her e-mail magazine that she had been in depression for one month. After she finished a live concert tour last March, she fell into a state of lethargy. She completely lost appetite, suffered from insomnia, and had no motivation to do anything other than crouching on the floor. She recovered from the state of depression by reading a book on stress-handling. She realized she had accepted excessive amount of works to comply with others' expectations and gone against her own principle that "the quality of her performances" and "her own will to do the job" have the highest priority. | I adore her. Of course, everyone knows Shinji-kun, but she's done many many other wonderful characters, too. Sailor Uranus in Sailor Moon, Naoi-kun a.k.a. CHRIST in Angel Beats!, Yukito/Yue-sama in Cardcaptor Sakura, etc. I think she also has a lovely voice, YouTube Sailor Uranus's image song, "Kaze ni Naritai." It's almost Takarazuka level for me. ;3 Anyway, omedetou, Ogata-san, for feeling better. Best wishes! |
