However, in this case, I don't like Yuka. Heh? So this director actually has some feelings... he let Nana-chan escape. But from the looks of the preview, she goes berserk. What a pity. Lucy's a better character than I had thought. Up until now, I thought she was psychotic killer, with no human emotions in her. This episode changed my perception of her alot. My perception on Nyu's still the same. A cute and naive person. ^^ After having watched episode 1, is hard to imagine that this anime would had turned into a nice romance story. I love plot-twists! |

| I'm glad Nana's alive her relationship with her 'papa' is weird nice to see the human sides of the director and of Lucy and of the usually evil asassin guy. Overall good epispode. |

| Nana being alive definitely changed my views of this show. Her death was just so brutal and harsh that it wasn't fair for her to die. Lucy scares the shit out of me. It's like at any moment she could go psyco freak killing Kouta and Yuka in the blink of an eye. It was nice to see Lucy cry though. Makes her more of a human instead of a heartless killer. |

| Kouta and Yuka are weird. Not because they're cousins. But they're just so boring, and Yuka is so annoying. Their ~romance~ is so cliche. The badass guy is still a magnificent ass. I hope he doesn't kill Nana after she just got a second chance. |

| It's like the makers try to put every single sexual sin in this story from pedophilia to incest to what's next. It's like they have a bet going on; to make every episode more shocking. Though obviously some of it does make the story stronger, they could have left a bigger part of all the nudity... (or is that just because I'm a non lesbian girl?) But I mean Kouta squeesing Nyu's boob...? COME ON! What does that add? And though a cousin relasionship may not be fround upon in some countries, the writers must have known it's not considered to be normal in most countries? Ah well that's just the story, so it'll be forgiven. As far as the violence goes, thank youknowwho it's not as bad as I imagined. Did people actually throw up because of it? ...Or should I finish the serie before wondering over that? 0:) Well the violence definetly supports the story and I think it's very well done. ...And adding more details would probably have minored the viewer rate. ^^ (Though most people do have the sick habit to watch the things that one shouldn't watch - including me). My god Yuki is annoying. And honestly I don't like Kouta that much either. Lucy/Nyu, and most of the others, do a great job making up for them. But it's really the "mystery" that makes me continue watching it (and a little because it's a much heard of anime (Yeah I'm still a noob at this)). ....Though I do think that I already can gues most, if not all, of it. Well I think I like it so far. |

| First off, everybody's complaining how Kouta's and Yuka's romance is cliche and all that which it is, but if you don't like it then don't complain. After what I would guess to be hundreds of romance scenarios, it's a lil hard to keep the creative juices flowing. If you don't like it make your own romance scenario. Second, wow really? Just because it's an incestual relationship everybody gets all "Ewwy" and "Bleh!" Incest happens all the time and all over the world. Just because it's not your definition of normal gives you no right to criticize it. Well whatever, my point is grow up and stop being narrow-minded. Anyways, Lucy is actually emotional this episode. I was expecting her to kill Yuka in a jealous rampage, but oh wells. |

| As much as I hate incest in other animes I've seen (Angel Sanctuary, Akane iro ni somaro saka, ...) Elfen Lied is the first time that I feel it actually works (it does't even feel like incest to me!). This anime has so far been the most visually and emotionally touching anime I've ever seen. The Kouta-Yuka relationship is a part of the emotional drama in the series. I hope everyone will get over their 'ewww!!!' attitude towards the incest - it's one of the ways the creator connects more of our emotion to the main characters. Remember Elfen Lied is meant to have a strong emotional theme and not just be a mindless gore & boobfest. |

| I really enjoyed this episode. Kouta is starting to remember his past which has me intrigued, and Lucy is awesome. Just sayin'. Now, time to download episode 7. |
| the romance was kinda bleh, i didnt care for it much, yuka sucks >.< it was relieving to see nana was still alive tho, the DR did have a heart :D and lucy is becoming very interesting too, i love twists like these |
