| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, definitely an original idea. The Elizabeth's thing at the start wasn't that great, however the was a couple of hilarious moments in it... Not worth the wait though... Although it was a budget episode, it was still good IMO. The perceived dramatic irony was enough to keep it interesting, along with the occasional touches of brilliant humor. The last minute or so before the ending was also great. Next episode will be awesome! Cant wait for Otaku Hijikata to re-appear! (How many manga chapters was this upcoming episode/arc?) Elizabeth Part 3/5 | Story Idea 4/5 | Humor 3.75/5 |

| The Elizabeth part was kinda meh. I hope they don't do something like that at the beginning of every episode. The actual episode itself was great though. Especially Hijikata's parts - "Die!" Once the ending revealed the people weren't really Gintoki and Otae I chuckled to myself and said "I should have thought as much." They've done stuff like that so many times now but it never gets old. |

| The Elizabeth part was alright. I lol'd at poor Katsura being clubbed though. My GinTae fandom is slightly revived. I was fooled at that part when I read the manga. And yes the Otsuu battle begins! This arc is gonna be super long. |

| I LOVED the episode, really. The Elizabeth part was okay, some funny parts in it. What would you do if you don't recognise the voices? xD The humour was excellent, especially the we-don't-know-eachother-parts. And the Gintae part was just... awesome. Really. I read the manga before but if I didn't I sure was fooled. Buuut that means one thing. (although it was fake lol) They tought about the Gintae couple <3 There is still hope! And the next arc is gonna be awesome. Toushi gets lots of screentime~ |

| That was hilarious! I was wondering why we couldn't see their faces even near the end, haha. The part with Gintoki and Otae holding hands irked me, thank god it wasn't really them. | Oh my god, Elizabeth. O.o And lol, talking to Kagura. I loved this. I can't believe I actually enjoyed an episode with like, TWO scenes in it. "Die! Just die!" That was funnier than any other filler/low budget episodes. I'm still hung up on the fact it was ONE scene! >:O |

| I really like this episode! Even with the same backdrop (of the old man) for the whole 20 mins, I was equally entertained! This shows just how awesome Gintama is (at least to me)! XD The seiyuus are so awesome! Who would have thought the characters are not the real characters? They certainly got me there! Although it'd be interesting if they really plan for some romantic developments between Gintoki and Otae! Alas86 said: Weekry Junp? | Oh my gosh, i loved the Silent Film bit with Elizabeth! Just really funny and original! I'm just a big fan of Elizabeth in general though. Such a bizarre creation... The animation style reminded me of South Park, but i dont know if that was just me. They even had mice come and eat Zura's dead corpse, like they used to do with Kenny xD LOL "Weekry Shonen Jump" - Engrish always cracks me up! Oh hey it's "My Neighbor" Pedoro! Also, why are Elizabeth turned by hostess club and hot flower girl? I thought Elizabeth was a girl... Oh wait, there's a guy inside her - I give up. xD --- The second part i didn't really like, just seemed like an obvious budget-episode. Just have one static shot with voiceover. That's bound to save them a lot of money... :/ |
