That's interesting.... but obviously Light is clever enough to brush off the deal and do it his way... of course it'd be a little hard to get out of the problem the guy following him, but I'm pretty sure he will win in the end... | The way Light and L think is just flawless. This show isn't going to slow down, is it? I'm guessing Light will definitely take the Shinigami deal, but who knows, so far it hasn't been very predictable. |

| Well in light's shoes, im already condemned after having killed that many people and at the same time wanting to be a god and be immortalized Id definately take up the offer. With those eyes you'd know how long you have to live and can plan accordingly the pace at which you'd wanna kill off the murderers |

| That was an unexpected twist, at least for me but not that surprising. It seems like he will make that deal, but how will it benefit him? Also, it would seem like he wants half his life because it is a long life. |

| I guess he will take the eyes and kill off the investigator, even if that means he loses half of his lifespan and maybe gets detected by L (but I don't think that's gonna happen, because he just has to think of a more different death, like beeing run over by a car or getting shot in a gang shooting). |
| The way the ryuk is giving light more insight as to what the death note and what he, ryuk can do to help him achieve is long ambition of a new world order, i can't help but see how both guys are enjoying themselves very much. Just what will he do to get that detective of his tail and will he accept the offer for shinigami eyes.....things just got even more interesting. |

| It seems like L is one step ahead of Light at every turn. Light getting the eyes could really turn this game of cat and mouse in his favor though. I think he is gonna go for the deal. |
| goooooooood show really at first i wasn't interested to see it but now i like it its different anime sure light i feel he is stupid when he killed the guy appears on tv thought he is L if he want to make justice in the world why he kill L <<< he had evil side after all :) before i saw anime when i was seeing L pic i thought him the killer never thought he will be the detective <<< he had strange eyes but i like them ^^ |

| L is seeing right through Kira's moves way to easy - I guess that Light is nothing more than just an kid with exceptional IQ, but he's not close to genius from the like of L. I hate Ryuk about telling Kira about the Eye deal, but let's hope it won't be too easy for Kira to see L's face and name... |

| Huge price to pay. Half of your current lifespan is a bit too much of a gamble in my opinion... I wouldn't do it. Anyways, awesome episode! Even after already completing this, its still so damn epic! :D |

| it was a good episode,but if you will think out of the box,you will understand something: Ryuk wants half of light's life span,which means he has a big span,which means he wont die against L and win the "war",if so,why light needs those eyes?the answer for this question is: he doesnt. another point: light isnt an idiot,he should know that if he will kill his tracker,L will be able to determine him as the killer,its pretty obvious,the fact that light who is a genius doesnt think about that is unreliable. |

| Very good episode, his dad is the chief so he can get hold of the records but L knows this and will he asks for Ryuk's eyes? although I've seen up to this point before I can't remember if he did or not. |

| I really feel like for how smart Light is he is really stupid. I just can't help it. I'm sure Light will take that deal. I don't know about right now but I just think that he will eventually. I dunno plus I feel like eliminating everyone around him is a bad idea... like the guy following him? What if somehow L had him follow Light and he killed him?? Hellloooo???
