| So far my fav episode. This episode really made me think that Dandy reminds me of Great Teacher Onizuka, secretly preparing something, not caring for the self reward and money and giving that great impression at the ending. |

| Best episode so far. The music and the laid-back pacing made it feel more like a Bebop episode, not to mention all the feels. And like someone else here said, it also reminded me of Michiko to Hatchin. Hell, she even looks a bit like Hatchin. I was hoping the girl would join the crew right now, rather than when she grows up (will we ever see that happen?), because that space cat guy isn't that interesting. |

| Eh. This episode was okay I guess. It had good moments but the girl's character and background wasn't fleshed out enough IMO. This was essentially a typical "we didn't like each other at first but now we're friends" kind of plot we've seen many times. Idk, maybe I'm just being too snobbish. I'm not really in the the best kind of mood today. |
| I like that Space Dandy is able to pull off so many styles and tones, ranging from crass hammy comedy, to fast-paced action, to trippy rainbow puke extravagance, to something that was actually pretty sweet. Kinda cliche, but for an anime like this to be able to also pull off a sentimental story, I'm surprised. |

| (Rewatch.) This show is so good, love seeing Dandy's cool side. His determination when he's the toy is really moving, as well as being funny. I love the music in this show so much. The aesthetic too. |

| You know the episode will have some real juice when it starts out as quick as possible, they even noted the different tone in last episode's preview. This was a different change of pace, different is maybe, but in a welcoming way. It was just about Dandy being a grown up, taking care of an orphan, and it was sweet, the whole join your crew thing is giving me some cheerful vibes of seeing the kid, later on, the series, that or they better bring her back in the second season, she's too good to be disposed of. Dandy is just too kind-hearted for that world. That 666 mentions caught me off guard, especially from a kid like her. I loved the wholesome soundtrack that played during one of their journeys. Definetely going into my all times playlist. |
