Aoki getting beat up does not look fun though. For a guy with a weird haircut, he fights pretty badass. Dat sweat though lol. 5/5. This episode really bounced back into action and I thought it was awesome. |

| Ehh, these fights honestly weren't that funny, or good at all. The joke was funny at first, but it lasted way too long and just got annoying. Filler padding at it's best. Also, I find it weird that we're already basically up to the Takamura fight when Eagle literally just got introduced last episode. This lack of buildup is really worrying me, considering Takamura Vs Hawk had like 5 episodes of buildup, and then a 4 episode fight. My expectations for this fight really aren't high at all. Either way, I hope Miyata's fight is atleast entertaining and not a stupid overly long gag fight like Aoki and Kimura's |

| As expected, their fights were really only there as a joke... which is a bit of a shame. That double look-away was funny as hell though! It's kidna boring that they get draws so often. Kimura and Aoki can still be the "average" boxers of Kamogawa gym if they lose but put up a good fight, or kind of weasel their way to victory. That would make for more interesting outcomes I think. Anyway, I am HYPED for Miyata's big fight! I hope it's better than against that Aussie, that fight was kinda lame. |

| Since all of the focus is on Miyata and Takamura, it wasn't surprising that Aoki's and Kimura's fights were more or less glossed over. Both of them getting a draw was for the best since it'd suck if they lost even if their new hair-dos would've been hilarious and if they end up winning, there wouldn't been enough time for them to bask in their victory. |

| seems to me the anime don't take seriously kimura or aoki matches anymore (and they are supposedly fighting national champions?) well at least aoki's match are more comedic than kimura lol |
