| I've liked the manga (4koma) and that's why I was looking forward to this. Animationstyle is pretty typical KyoAni and that running style too : D And it seems much of Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsura Sekai. |

| Well really, if you want something a bit deeper than a slice-of-life moe show, then I don't know why you'd watch this to begin with. Myself, I'm just enjoying K-ON for what it is. |

| I think this just pushed my definition of "cute" 2 digits further. Nice little light and fun show with lots of really funny/cute moments (mostly from Yui). Good animation style with lots of nice and funny facial expressions. OP and especially ED were pretty good too. This is a show I will watch for sure. I mean it's Kyo Ani. Never seen something bad from these guys anyway. To those saying it's a Kannagi art ripoff. It's actually more the other way round since the Kannagi guy came from Kyo Ani and used their style for Kannagi. Also we had different notes like the facial expressions which were more similar to Lucky Star. I'm happy with the first ep :D o_0 Goth Loli ED was kinda cool. Haven't see the OP but this will be entertaining I feel regardless of wherever it has an actual spot as a light-hearted series in comparison to the rest of the seasons Action/Adventure. |

| Haha, I really laughed my ass off with this episode. It seems to have great potential to me, but I couldn't have expected any less of Kyoto Animation. They sure did it again. I'll be watching this untill the end for sure. ^^; |
| I'm already in love with this series ! The DMC reference was so funny! LOL. I think the moe content in this will be less compared to Lucky Star. I also don't expect this series to be just comedy. I think this show is like Haruhi - it has comedy and moe but it also has a serious story. Also, the animation was superb as expected from KyoAni. Loved the OP and ED. Can't wait for the 2nd episode. :) |

| Wow, lots of posts already... It's like a cute, all girl version of Beck (the anime, not musician). I'll stick with it. And never eating fast food... I thought it was funny how she followed by dumping the fries in one big pile. EDIT: no wonder there were tons of posts, it was all raw watchers for 5 pages. I still don't get why people watch raws when they can't understand japanese. |

| The 1st episode was funny and I loved all the characters! The ending was amazing, especially Mio looked pretty! Yui was cute and Ritsu was funny. K-ON! will surely be great!! |

| first anime i've seen out of the new ones airing for the spring season.. good way to start imo. it was a really good episode, infact way better than what I had hoped for. Btw, their performance was really cute! |

| The animation movement reminds me an awful lot of Haruhi Suzumiya xD Ahh...anything Pony Canyon does is always amazing. I love this series already. The ending theme has like sucked me in. <3 |

| This was so moe, I thought I was gonna die... Anyway I've watched the first episode because it's one of the first animes of spring 2009 to air, and since it's KyoAni it'll probably be popular. I was expecting this to be another crap show with cute girls, much like whatever KyoAni does these days, but I must admit that I actually smiled. If the rest of the show is as light-hearted as the first episode, I might continue watching since it's only 13 episodes long. Oh and the OP/ED weren't bad. Given the fact that this is a show about music, I expect more J-rock/pop though. (Btw KyoAni, where's my god damn FMP season 4? Yeah I know, when Duke Nukem Forever comes out...) |

| It was a meh first episode. Nothing outstanding about it really. The music was decent but not a huge J-Pop fan to begin with. The animation and art for me right now is.....eh at best. Maybe down the line I'll appreciate it more but it seems really bad when they have shots from far away, they look just like blobs. The comedy wasn't truly there for me but it might take awhile as well. If all these things hold up then I guess the only thing keeping me watching this would probably be the music references because I'm a huge folk/classic rock fan. The fact they even mentioned Jeff Beck is good enough for me. One thing I question is why does it always seem that the bassists in a anime are left handed? They must have seen Paul McCartney and thought that's how all bassists play (joke). But seriously, they like to use Les Paul Gibson's alot for guitars instead of mixing it up. |
