| So I'm torrenting the Air TV series, the OVA, and the movie. I don't know when to watch the movie (before or after the series) and I read in the description that the OVA expands on a story arc in the show. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to stop watching the show and watch the OVA at the point in the series when it takes place. I thought it would be a bit anticlimactic to watch the OVA after the series and I don't know which episodes in takes place between. Or would it actually be better to watch the OVA afterwards for some reason? Please help me MAL. |
| The movie is a retelling of the series, so I'd watch that after. It's nowhere near as good as the anime though. I'd watch the OVA after. It is just a side story that happens during a 2 episode arc in the middle of the series, but those two episodes are really tightly woven together. The OVA is mainly just filler (albeit good filler). Maybe even wait a day between finishing episode 12 of the series and episode 13 (which is a recap that really ties everything together) and the OVA. You're probably going to be emotionally drained after episode 12 anyways. |
