Have you ever watched or read anything that was just so bad it made you laugh? Share it here. Be specific on which version you enjoyed. (like dub/sub/fansub/language/etc.)

Inspiration for this thread came from just finishing Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned (anime).
MAL page: http://myanimelist.net/anime/3801/Yami_no_Teio:_Kyuuketsuki_Dracula

ATTENTION B horror fans- this film is hilarious. I didn't check the subbed version, but eng dub was hilarious! Dracula looks like Vincent Price. It's from 1980 so it's got that late 70s vibe and soundtrack. Watch Dracula's inner struggle with good & evil. Meet his half mortal son who is killed only to be reborn aged & with the powers of heaven sent to destroy his father. Delight as Dracula mugs someone for a hamburger when his powers are taken away by satan himself. I haven't laughed so hard in months.

Karasu Tengu Kabuto: Ougon no Me no Kemono aka Raven Tengu Kabuto: The Golden-Eyed Beast in English~ I didn't know when I watched it, but it is a side story OVA from a series aired in 1990. The series was 39 eps so I'm guessing it's better than the nonsensical crap OVA, but who knows... I got quite a few laughs from the eng dub OVA (but not bc of the dub). It's a super cheesy blend of fantasy, historical, horror, & even steampunk elements. -Memorable enough mostly because of this guy: http://www.animeclick.it/prove/serie/KabutoOAV/KabutoOAV15.jpg

Finally found the Frankenstein anime online. It's made by same people who made Dracula. It's funny too, but it's a little different. The monster is made to be just as soft as Dracula. Always loved Frankenstein so I did enjoy this one too.

Also, I've been meaning to share these HA-larious cheap Gundam/Mazinger/Yamato/EveryOtherSuperRobotSeriesFromJapan rip-offs. Product of Korea. Dubbed for Australia. Produced by Joseph Lai. #Iluvthe80s

I'm surprised MAL has pages for these. ^^
Raiders of Galaxy was my favorite, while Protectors of the Universe has the worst dub ever.

i actually liked it. but i see that a lot of people gave it a bad rating. the manga seems to be more appreciated. haven't read it. did they change things too much in the anime compared to the original story?

@Hiei ~ yea definitely let us know about the manga if you take the time to read it :D

I had to go and watch Pupa after reading about it here. I did kind of like it too. It deals with some heavy themes and it does jump right into the story with no explanation. I do however, think enough is explained to keep up. I don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is. I don't think it's great or anything, but I did enjoy it.

Unfortunately only the first 15 chapters are translated. So far I didn't see a big difference between the manga and the anime, in fact the first 6-7 chapters seemed identical with the anime, maybe that's why the episodes are 4min long. After that the manga starts explaining things a bit better then the anime, I even think that the anime skips a few chapters. If I remember correctly there's an episode that I didn't see in the manga, maybe it's one of the chapters that I haven't read. It does fit with the overall story, but the way it was presented in the anime does make thinks a bit confusing. But just when the manga started to get interesting, I ran out of chapters :( Sill, I don't understand why such a big difference in rating between the manga and anime.

Three words: Cipher The Video. It's all in English with Japanese subtitles and it's essentially a whole 80s music video with plot that makes little to no sense. Also, the brothers kiss in it.

A close runner up is Kyoufu Densetsu Kaiki! Frankenstein. It's just total cheese.
