Well that was a waste of time 1/10. This manga was plain bad, hopefully the sequel will change my mind on the manga.

From the first chapter I knew it was Rei. Having already read "and then there were none" (the book in which this manga was based on) I imagined that the author would do a similar twist and the murderer would be someone that was pretending to be dead. In the first chapter after seeing the girl in the wheelchair I just thought that she could walk, and then they develop a lot the hypnotist thing and I start to think "god, they are going to use this bulls** arent they". So by the end of the chapter, after its revealed that Rei was "dead" I was certain that she was the wolf, they wouldnt talk so much about hypnotist if it wasnt important to the plot.
Still, it was really fun to read and there were a lot of things that suprised me along the story.

Intriguing premise that reminds me of the Saw franchise, but the ending is so terrible that M. Night Shyamalan could've thought of a better twist in his worst days. I don't know whether to cringe or laugh after finishing this.

There was pretty much not a single good aspect about this besides the premise.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

The hypnotism was such a cheap gimmick. And it was such a red flag too. She had all the staples, dying first, wheel chair but can actually walk, polite shy personality but actually a bitch. Good cheap entertainment tho.At least it didnt drag on for 50+ chapters.

Yeah I fucking called that shit in the first chapter. Then when mitsuki turned out to be it I was like "Fuck yeah, i'm glad the author didn't do that stupid shit of making her the mastermind", then he fucking does it anyways. She hardly had any motive and the hypnotism is so stupid. Even if it couldn't have been a ending where the girl gets caught I still feel like the mc and hajime should have survived. So stupid. So many plot twists at the end as well, which was fine but jeez.

I've been part of many bad endings but man this is still something else. And calling it something as generous as "bad" won't be doing justice at all. This is beyond that.

Rei was the mastermind all along, I get it but wait why didn't she kill the rest of three there at the rabbit game location itself.. what's the point of bringing them to the hospital and then killing them there anyways???? Just for the feel of doing a quirky villainous deed?? The writing is godawful lmao.

Twists for the sake of twist. Thank god though it was only 20 chapters long, otherwise would've stopped midway for sure. 3/10, as atleast the chapters didn't bore lol.

I already called out the suspects back when we saw Rei body nailed onto the wall. Rei was my suspect no1 with the first character faking death as primary reason and mizuki as suspect no2 for being the innocent looking girl. I only didn't expect the two of them to be both the wolfs and hypnotism to come into play.

Overall, its a disappointing read with sometimes unclear actions depicted in the panels and the characters' motives and line of questioning raised more than a few question marks in my head. The ending is alright being ambiguous but I'd wished we get an explanation on how Rei faked her death. Using another lookalike? or just some convincing paintjob?
