| I followed the manga awhile ago and thought was decent for a shoujo manga. I always knew that someday there might be an anime adaptation and volia. There's been some talk about the voice actors/actresses, what production studios will be in charged, etc But anyways, there's no PV out (yet!). The recent website is up though: http://aoha-anime.com/ Assuming the series airs this year, I'm guessing around summer, or even Fall. Anyways, just wondering what expectations people will have for this. Shoot away~ |

The more I think about it the more I can imagine Yuki Kaji as Kou. The manga is quite good. ^^ I'm a little frustrated about it right now, to be quite honest, but it seems like it's getting better. There needs to be development anyways. |
| Words cannot express how happy I was when I saw the announcement for Ao Haru Ride to get an anime adaptation. I've always wanted to see one of Sakisaka Io's works animated. I have pretty high expectations for this series not only because I enjoy the manga a lot but also because I think that an anime adaptation has a pretty good opportunity to cut out some of the excess fat that was present in the manga's story. One of my main qualms about the original material is how dragged out some of the problems and conflicts in the story (which seems to be a common problem in shoujo manga anyways), so here's hoping that some of it is trimmed down in the adaptation. Yuki Kaji seems like an... interesting... choice for Kou, but oh well. I'll wait and see how it actually goes before I jump to any conclusions about how well he'll portray Kou, despite him being far from what I imagined for the character. |

| Really looking forward to this one! It is a very good story. Yes, it relies on tropes, but it executes them well and the art is really good. There is a sense of believability in the behavior of the characters. I don't know how else to describe it... |

| Yuki Kaji as Kou omg when I saw this I hope he changes his voice a little. I hope the best though, I already like the manga. The Seiyu for Futaba is the same from Noragami, Hiyori. I just saw them both work great , Yukine aka Yuki Kaji, Hiyori aka Maaya Euchida I am liking the voice actress/ actors so far |

I read Strobe Edge then loved that the mangaka started Ao Haru Ride and I just want to see her characters animated so much because I love everything about her style and her work, so yeah, I hope they don't screw it up! (Like they did with Sukitte ii na yo imo, because I definitely enjoyed the manga much better there) |

| I was squealing when I first heard of this news~~ AHR is like my baby lol I've been reading it since the first few chapters came out a few years back and to hear it's getting an anime and live-adaptation is amazing~ But back to the topic, I don't really want to expect anything but I am just hoping the ending of the anime would be anything but bad/silly. It's only 12 episodes, so I'm wondering where they'll make the cut-off from the manga, I'm just worried for the ending. Actually I was surprised that there'll already be an anime adaptation because I don't think there's enough manga material yet but that might just be me. Just hope that the anime can somehow go in quite deep with the romance and character development even though it's only 12 episodes. Hoping this won't be a flop of an anime because the manga is a great series and it'll be a pity if people have a bad impression on the manga because of the anime. Also hoping that the manga would cover the parts when Kou and Futaba were middle-schoolers as well because that part is just too cute~ XD |
