I was cheering for Ippo of course. Sawamura's fighting style is awesome, same goes for the OST. The way his style is shown with the gun makes him that damn fearsome. Geez, Ippo's mouth brace got knocked out. |

| This fight is absolutely beautiful, I was hoping Ippo would pull out his new Dempsey Roll in this episode but hey no rush. This match is one of the best in the Ippo series without a doubt. |
| His trap was perfect, and to think that all that cheating in the beginning was to get makunouchi worked up, especially him being a in fighter, i wonder if the 'new' dempsey roll would do anything |
| I liked it, it was good. But I waited for three weeks for new episode, and now I need to wait yet another to see best things in this fight. But still, it was epic. If next one is really 1h special, I am really looking forward to new episode. |

| Nice ep. The fight will probably go for another 2.5 eps, can't wait for the latter stages. Thought the animation coulda been a bit better, too many still frames with a shaking effect to give "impact". |

| I don't know if it's just me or I'm having a bad day or something, but I felt the fight quite meh so far. I was excited when Sawamura teased Ippo when Kumi almost touches his motorcycle like 4 weeks ago or something, maybe the waiting ruined it for me :/ In fact even I've been enjoying this season a lot but I feel the build up to this fight was weak, mostly on the Ippo side, though I really liked the blows Ippo connected, and Sawamura has good wood. I'll have to save my expectations for next week! 55 min sounds so promising! or maybe re-watch when I'm having a better time. |

| I was a bit surprised at how the first round went, but Sawamura really turned it up after that. Ippo has to sway back and forth to get past Sawamura's left? The trap is that he wants Ippo to use the Dempsey Roll and then counter it I'm guessing. Also, Ippo's face was inches away from the matt before he got back up. I thought it was for sure a down, but welcome to anime hahaha. |

| Eh, idk about others but the start of the match was disappointing. The way Sawamura was boxing and those faces he made was really weird. I thought he was fearsome like Sendo so he'd be more bold in confronting Ippo... Also great to see good old OST again but I couldn't feel an ounce of intensity coming from the fight. Also, the way VA was forcing his voice for Ippo came off very sluggish to me. |

| This is getting tense. Sawamura's d pose is really threatening, Ippo must find a way to get a good reedom. It's obvious his liver punches damaged him so if he can dodge his punches enough he will destroy Sawamura at some point. I have one thing clear and it's that blood is gonna run in this battle. |
