| Both endings were good. Anime just took a sadder one, probably to save time in the next movie as they do have 30+ chapters to cram in it. |

| Im not sure whether you can say one is better than the other. Just to clarify, in the manga...is Hiyori in it much after this? (I havent read it or seen the next movie yet) The manga version is good as it gives readers hope for a happier future with Hiyori, but the Anime version is good as it gives viewers hope for a happier future with the others. Personally, I prefer the Anime version as I am a bit of a soppy git...so Im glad I had a little cry to that ending :) |

| indeed, the manga ending would be better. would be nicer if she'd be his gf, at least for some time. haven't seen the second movie yet, maybe he decides to go with Alpha, would be nice too on the other side, maybe she's not dead? after-credits-scene? where he's on their meeting point, turns around, smiles and her bells are ringing? *hopes* |
