| At first I felt like they kinda ruined the whole moment with the flashbacks, but at the same time I love how the anime handle the whole situation, and this backstory is a nice addition to the story, so in the end it isn't a bad thing to me. Either way, I love how the love triangle is handled in the story, it's easy to relate to each one of them, so you can't help but love all the characters, there are simply no wrong or right choices in this situation, it's a grey territory where even if everyone is responsible in their own way, nobody is actually guilty, they're all just miserable in the end, it's truly tragic. |

| I get where Kitahara is coming from to some extent about not understanding Touma's tsundere signs (even if they were kinda obvious in this case) but there's no defense for making all those promises so quickly to Setsuna. One of the love triangle's corners getting brutally cut off is inevitable now. |
