| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- DAT OST. I always knew pirates were up to no good. Morgania was pretty cool which I wasn't surprised about. She was always pretty cool in this series imo. Now, that Madaura was someone I did not trust from the very beginning (from the manga as well). | lol ~ she's more aggressive than the two guys. "Madoura"'s power is scary. They almost got controlled by her because of yearning of mother's love. Only Hakuryuu became enemy and transformed because he yearns mother's love the most from the parents getting assassined. |

| damn the animation where all 3 run up the stairs looks soterrible. its like a animated GIF made of 3 pictures. ok episode at best. very predictable. animation quality was really meh at some points. 3/5 |

| The episode was good but I didn't like the animations at some moments. It made the ep look boring. Though I did enjoy it. Can't wait for the next ep to come. |
| Lots of crying. Madaura is evil. EVIL! This and the last episode has been slower than the usual pace. Though from the preview for next time it looks like it'll take some fast steps. | Zzzz, this felt like a repeat of season 1's ending, the whole "remember your friends and regain your will" trope can only be used so many times...and I usually never notice or comment on animation but LOL @ that stair scene, looked awkward even to me. This series is starting to get cringe worthy, but I'll maintain faith. |

| My favorite moment will happen next episode. Lets hope that A-1 does not screw it up, but after what happened with the Jerza scene in Fairy Tail before the magic games I have some faith! the animation budget must have been like $10 especially when they were climbing up the stairwell. xD |

| Yay Morgiana! But, I won't be blinded by my love. This arc is really sucking right now. I hate whenever someone in a group turns against the others unless it's of their own free will. It made it worse that it was so predictable at that. The pacing seems pretty bad too. Nice preview, spoiling the next episode. |

| I just love Morgiana. She's so OP ^^b. The villian this arc is so... cliché? though. World domination. >> Oh well. Reading the forum posts make me happy that I haven't picked up the manga yet. I hate anime that don't follow the manga and end up making the series terrible. OMG NEXT EPISODE IT'S DAT SCENE. QQ The only part of the manga that I searched up to read because I was so curious about it. :> |

Agreed, I also felt that it was missing something, and I found out why after reading your spoiler. Ugh why didn't they animate that scene? :( And I'm pretty sure A-1's budget all went to Galilei Donna unfortunately. Seriously the visuals look great in that anime while Magi looks like crap almost half of the time... Complaints aside, Morgiana was awesome as always, I love how Alibaba and Hakuryuu were just like, wow it sounds like hell in there. |
| Usually I am pretty bad at noticing weak animation, but it is super obvious even to me that A-1 is cutting major corners. I mean seriously, that stair scene is a gif... At least, I can still pray for the possibility "Magihood - Labyrinth of magic"... The worse this adaptation is, the more likely the chances. |
