The main character is a badass and doesn't take crap from women for a change, but otherwise the series is pretty generic. It's not bad but hardly a must watch.

It was enjoyable, but the ending felt incomplete and there will never be a second season...

5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

I enjoyed it. As others have said it felt incomplete, like it needed another season. That was what was intended but the writer died before he could.

Yea, the main Character being pretty pimp is the best thing about this series. Second to that you have a very interesting backstory which is never fully explored, and by that I mean both the main character's story, and the story of how magic exists and evolved in that world.

Mostly, I would recommend skipping this series if you are anything like me -- the kind of anime viewer who cares MOST about a meaningful story that moves towards a resolution. I regret watching this show because it IS incomplete (it's not that is just feels incomplete, it actually is very incomplete.).

The art and action is decent, but without a complete plot and story, this anime fails by my standards.

Most of the episodes don't have a plot and the characters are pretty boring too -.- There are better anime out there

The concept was unique and there was good chance to execute a masterful storyline,but somehow it manage to finish__introducing season 2 could strengthen this anime overall,sadly there is no chance~hope some writer in future could at least borrow this story's concept which is interesting....

Pretty average IMO. Op + too smart mc (to the point where it becomes boring). Annoying little brother + annoying 2 friends obsessed with him and constatly following him arround. Unfinished story. Somewhat decent art.

Oh well, at least mc is not a puchbag for a violent female, can't stand those type of animes.
