https://isohunt.com/ for torrents.
http://gotlurk.net/ for IRC (or scanlator's channel)

Edit: Forgot to add, gotlurk has popups. Also, boxtorrents is very good for manga if you want to see descriptions (only complete or huge series, though).

Well, for those that like seinen, I suggest you visit http://www.mydailymanga.com/

There, bloggers post links to new manga releases, and sometimes something old may pop up. Generally, all manga I've seen there has been pretty good.

Yeah, MF tends to do that. I never go on that site. It did the same to me, too.

Strange, it looked like a pretty solid site to me. Not that I read online or anything... The site you gave looks pretty good, by the way.

It's probably the ads, not the site itself. adblock/noscript should do the job.

I'm pretty sure MangaFox should do the trick....it's the one that I use, although there has been some problems lately with the licensed manga, so taking a look through the other sites on the list is not a bad idea.

And also it seems some people have had problems with viruses, although I've never gotten any from MangaFox.

I'm kinda surprised, but probably shouldn't be, that http://batoto.com/ hasn't been mentioned. They're still relatively new so the available titles aren't as vast as some others, but it's the only reader I'd use if I actually read my manga online.

Yeah, Batoto is pretty new, but it has quite the support from some of the scanlators (i.e. The Company, FoolRules). It's been getting more and more popular lately.

HI! I am just going to say that the best place I've found to read manga is on my phone! There are plenty of apps that can visit multiple sites and allow you to download and view online with no ads and full screen. Plus, the app I use gives me updates on new chapters and marks my last page!

To those of you using mangafox, it's not mangafox givin' you virus' it is something else. I have no ad blocker on and use it daily, hell it's on 24/7 most of the time, i have Malwarebytes and ESET SS and both do not detect any virus' even approaching from that site.

kissmanga.com has been working really well for me lately. I like it because you can just scroll down you don't have to flip through pages. It's nice because my computer can be slow at times and I am not a patient person xD

I used to use mangareader.net and really liked it until it started having problems anytime I tried to read something. It wouldn't load the pages no matter what. Said they were unavailable and I don't think it was because of licensing problems. It had never been a problem in the past.

Anyway kissmanga.com has a good library as far as I can tell
