| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The fact that Tokuchi was bluffing on the last one was fairly obvious. The silly Bloomer should have been a little less obvious about the fact that they were reading and reacting to the signs. This episode was more for giggles, imo, as Mihara's signs were totally hilarious. To tell the truth, this match reminds me a little more of Tetsuya than Akagi. |

| This episode had a whole lot of comic relief, I kind of liked it. Waiting for the means of transmission for their signs to not auditory and not visual, though. Probably somehow beer girl (who they kept showing, lol foreshadowing) or the taiko drums that you can hear occasionally. My only complaint is that there was several frames where Toua was missing a foot and that was just weirrddd |

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the Taiko drummers as the 10th Man of the Bluemars. the writers weren't subtle about it whenever Ideguchi was searching for whatever was stealing the signs. |

| I think it's about the beer girl. They kept showing her. It was pretty obvious that Tokuchi had talked with Kojima beforehand. It will be fun watching BloomersBlue Mars lose. |
| I thought that it was either the scoreboard or the lights, which they also kept showing, but then beer girl kept showing up, but I don't know if she's a red herring or not. Besides trying to figure that out, I was pretty bored by the episode. Especially with Tokuchi and Ideguchi's drawn out conversation on the mound. |
| Not much suspense like previous episodes, but it was a funny one. The cheat is totally unrelated to the beer girl (who they just kept showing). I thinks it have something to do with score board maybe. |

| Pretty much seconding what everyone else is saying. More comic relief, less mindrape. It's not bad by any means, but it lacks a certain Tokuchi-ness to it. Oh well. As for where the sign is, I'm at a loss. Maybe I'll see how little I can understand and watch the raw! |

| Yeah, I'm thinking the drums, as well. It's too hard to communicate all of the possible signs through the beer girl. And if it was visual, it would be easy to see where they were looking. The catcher guy is really dumb, though. He didn't even come up with the obvious strategy of changing the signs to something different. I was kind of confused that it was never brought up - just using different signs. |
| Kojima looked like he won a lottery when he hit a home run, lol. XD It's a hilarious episode indeed, but I was looking forward of Tokuchi's antics. |

| I also think the sign stealing is through the drums. So these guys cheat, like Tokuchi said that gets them more and more dependent on them. |
| explanations are too long, please for the love of God, keep them brief or eliminate them all together. that said, I too think the drums are the best bet atm. mainly because the catcher was watching their eyes and didn't seem to think that they were all looking in a particular direction. the main problem with this is that it would take too long to signal with drums when you're batting, but this is an anime where people can talk with a conversational tone from any distance and be understood clearly, so I doubt that would stop them ;) naikou said: The catcher guy is really dumb, though. I too am underwellemed by the intelligence of most of the people in this anime. |

| It's good that they were able to take 3 runs off of them, talking to Kojima beforehand really threw the other team off balance. |

The players on the Lycons are really really dumb. Its kind of insulting to baseball players everywhere. Kojima I'll make an exception for but how are they not all over their dog of a manager for being so dumb. |

| Either drums or the beer girl. That's what I think. But to reiterate the point above, just change your signs and change them often. This! It's so simple, but why does Toua and the others make it so complicated? XD |
| Great episode, loved it how Toua used their cheating. The manager is really so lame person. |

| A girl in One Outs who's actually attractive? I never thought this day would come! I think it's the drums that's allowing the Blue Mars to recieve their signals. I keep hearing those drums constantly pounding in the background when Ideguchi is trying to find the source. I think the beer girl is merely a red herring. It would be way too obvious considering how many times they showed her. Pretty good episode though not great. There hasn't been a truly game-changing episode lately. 7/10 |
| Yeah, I think it's the drums too . . . Although that seems too simple. Well, either way, the option of just changing the meaning of the signs is also something that they could do . . . Really looking forward to the cheating duel though. |

| This episode was pretty predictable, obviously if they are stealing signs just change the signs. Everyone will do that in this situation, and again they are showing Toua like he's a genius or smth. |

| If you know they're stealing signs, use different signs or just like Tokuchi did, make them think you're still using signs when in fact you've already agreed on hitting what hit. Decent episode though :) |

| It seemed like an average episode, but had some welcome comic relief. I also liked that we finally saw Kojima kicking some ass. At least him and Ideguchi are not as dumb as the rest of the team. |
| It is so obvious that the signals are in the drums (well i hope so otherwise i'm making a fool of myself). Pacing of the ep felt kinda slow. |

| People trying to solve a problem by forcing themselves to think that there's only one solution to it is more common than one would like to think. They should trust their instincts more than mull over trying to find the secret behind their methods so much to the point of overcomplicating things and messing up their performance. To be fair, Kojima's trick might only be used so much before they try something else to counter it. I wonder how they'll be able to stop them from stealing signals even if they've found out how they're doing it. |

| I'm learning about Baseball as I watch, but the tactics used are so satisfying. I know no way they are realistic, but I love the power fantasy here. |
