| This OVA is going to be set in the Kyoto Trip arc, which is somewhat in the middle of the manga, if you want to watch this without feeling lost, I say that you should read the first 14 chapters, then you should be good. But even if you haven't read the manga, you could still watch it, you'll probably end up asking a couple of questions though. |

| Reading the manga is always a good idea, if only because AssClass is a pretty awesome manga. However, I don't think you'll be completely lost, as the description/summary in the MAL page is probably sufficient enough to explain the gist of the settings... If you had watched without reading the manga, you'd probably miss some jokes, but you'd get the gist and 90% of the jokes anyway :O |
