| I think both animes sold modestly, but the sales are nowhere near as good as the manga does which might be one of the most popular baseball mangas period. I would personally love a 3rd season but it may be difficult to adapt. From where the second season ended if we had another 1 season show for the 3rd season we could go the entire length without even seeing the team in a game. I'm really hoping for a 3rd season though! |

| I wouldn't be surprised, from what I remember the series was cut short because the mangaka fell sick. That's why the season that was about the tournament, didn't have any of the tournament in it. It got two seasons the first time, which is good, I wouldn't be surprised if it came back. |

| It's not Impossible, but I think we need to wait for Studio have no choice but to continue season 3. (Recently A-1 Picture have a good anime animated). Hope for it! |

| Recently, I’ve been craving for a good down to earth baseball anime series. But nothing...... I can’t find anything. This is the only one I can think of, so with that in mind: third season please. I’m still hoping someday they will announced it. And when that day comes, it’ll be glorious. I might as well start reading the manga. It’s just that I prefer watching sport series like this than reading them. |

Give One Outs (http://myanimelist.net/anime/5040/One_Outs), Major (http://myanimelist.net/anime/627/Major_S1), Cross Game (http://myanimelist.net/anime/5941/Cross_Game) and Ace of Diamond (http://myanimelist.net/anime/18689/Diamond_no_Ace) a chance if you haven't yet. Each of the have their own style and differ from this, not to mention that their level of realism varies quite a bit, but they're all good Baseball series, especially One Outs and Major in my opinion. |
