| A very heart-warming episode. Tomoko finally gets a hug from the Fair Committee Leader, but Tomoko doesn't know just yet who it was. Only 1 episode left, I sure hope Tomoko becomes normal again and gets out of her shyness to find the right person for her, or even friends. |

| This episode really changed my opinion of the series a great deal. I was completely ready to give it a 1 for being the most dreadful, frustrating, and depressing thing I've ever watched (kind of like my high school experience), but this episode really brought back many good memories of high school I had forgotten. I don't think it's nearly enough to justify a good rating or recommendation, but at least the series shows it has its moments. I look forward to the finale |

| This solidifies it. I am definitely reading the manga. I criticized this anime for sticking with the same formula too long, showcasing an actually well written Tomoko fumble through a social situation, embarrass herself, maybe learn something slightly, and then end on a high note. The tone change recently that I've noticed is evident here. This episode was again more melancholic rather than cringe inducing or comedic for the most part, but the second half and ending were the most beautifully happy part so far. If I wasn't distracted at the last scene I would have cried. Tomoko is developing. She may not be more comfortable in social situations and such, but she is not avoiding them and escaping from them as much, she's actually pursuing them occasionally and learning to have a good time, or take them passively. We had the student council president see that she was sad and anxious and reach out to her, whether it was by helping her when she was hurt, or encouraging her, or thinking about her and worrying, and finally by giving her all she wanted, a big hug. :) We had Tomoko obsess over hugs to feel loved, or maybe because she's actually Muten Roshi reincarnated, but slowly forget about that and learn to have fun. She looked outside of herself, she forgot about her anxieties! The same type of food that she puked up because of them earlier, she was able to keep inside, or so I think. She genuinely had a good time and didn't think about using Yuu as a means to make her cool. I think this is a sign that she's learning to be honest with herself and to others(to a degree). Recall how she made up so many lies that were horribly untrue to her little cousin that her little cousin pitied her. This is development and I think it's undeniable! The biggest cringy moment this episode was when she lied about wearing a cute cosplay outfit, both because I think it came from a place of wanting to belong but not being accepted or being unable to assert herself to be so, and because it shows she hasn't learned too much from her past lies and the trouble they got her in. I had to exclaim "HAVE YOU NOT LEARNED ANYTHING TOMOKO, NO". |

| This is my fave ep so far! The Committee Chairman was really nice! My heart went uwu when she take the mascot costume on and hugged Tomoko. And good thing Tomoko enjoyed the festival with Yuu. Her reaction when Tuu hugged her was really funny! The ed song is really nice. |

| Hanging out with others because of their status and appearance, cringe as it is, I've been there too xD More or of a mundane and down to earth episode, which was actually nice for a change. The hug at the end was very sweet and the most positive moment so far. But damn Tomoko was thirsty for some ass. |
