| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally, a clever multi-pronged attack from the owner. We have him forcing Mihara to win (meaning Tokuchi will play), and feeding the other team's manager the team's signs (is obvious, if not explicit) and a cash prize for winning. Doesn't feel like Tokuchi will lose, though. He just doesn't do that. Spelled Blue Mars, pronounced "Bloomers". So that's what they are to be called from now on. |

| Very interesting episode. Glad it is over against the bugaboos for now, nice with some fresh air. I also liked that this episode was a little bit off the court to, so it is some variation in it. Definitely on of the best episodes in my opinion:) |

| I like this episode because it shows what Tokuchi does when he is not in a baseball game. At least he did do some research of how to win the game. Poor Johnsons just got injured by the Blue Mars team. |
| looks like their bats are a few inches bigger, at least the guys hitting home runs anyway. There's specific sizes limits and rules on what material a bat can be made out of for each league, but umpires normally don't measure to make sure. Happy to see we didn't have to watch another episode with Johnson...I hate these 3 game episodes. |

I agree with the OP, the sign stealing was pretty obvious from the very beginning of the game. now that's the scores tied, I'm looking forward to what kind of pitcher's "duel" will occur between Tokuchi and that Knuckleballer. though I'm kind of disappointed that there's no one on the other team with a big mouth and a short fuse. no target of Tokuchi's taunting? no RAGE in this set of games? ;_; |

| Wow, I thought Tokuchi would already have used the Johnson is tired thing around the end of game 2. Since the guy was catching, stealing, bunting, and hurting himself at occasions. I guess he let it go since it wasn't needed to win the game (since there was other strategies). And he doesn't really even need the trainer to track the time, since, it doesn't take a quantitative method to know a 100m sprinter will get tired if he had been running excessively for so long. |

| What do you think their cheat is? "MAGNETS!!!" (Lol, you know where I'm quoting this from) I'm thinking it can be a magnet inside both balls and bats. So that they'll pull each other close, lol. Tough I'm not sure if that's possible at that speed. About the weight... they can somehow make equal weighted bats and balls maybe? With carefully placed magnets and maybe with special magnets? I dunno... Also the pitch may be inclined in some way helping home side somehow but that's just a lazy ass guess. I don't even know what can be done to cheat in this game, lol, it's like they're making every "uncheatable" looking thing "cheatable as hell" I'm sure we'll get some valid explanations but I just can't even imagine what would happen if someone tried to cheat that way in any one of team sports, lol... Oh, and, don't that blonde guy look like Tokuchi? I thought for a sec they were brothers, lol. Still it's not impossible tough, maybe an unknown brother?! Lol. Anyway looking forward to next episodes. Looks like gonna be fun. |

| Meh. Not much happened this episode. Seems like the BlueMars have some tricks up their sleeve. I wonder who that guy was the owner talking to. I'm curious as to how the owner will void all of that money from the outs Toua has acquired. Alright episode though this one was a bit more boring than the others. I'm excited to see how the Toua counters that knuckleball though. 7/10 |
| The way the owner said he would "break" Tokuchi . . . I wonder if he intended to injure him. Does a Pro's contract become void after sustaining an injury that pulls him out for the season? Or maybe try and force him to play after getting injured? Really can't guess what they are thinking in this episode . . . Kind of seems random at the moment. |

| So Toua defeated Johnson by tiring him out, makes sense and then that guy on the other team just thought "oh well, I'll just injure him" lol. Also makes sense. Very interesting set up episode, wonder how they are cheating. |

| I really like the change of pace and how this new arc was set up. Tokuchi finally seems to warm up more, and feels more "human". But let's see whether the game itself will be exciting, too! |
