| With that many witnesses I think his odds are better, but I doubt he'll get full credit. I'm betting that they'll say the other heroes weakened it first. I loved how he refused to listen to the guy's bragging because he was tired of being in the rain ;) And that one punch was just filled with so much epic awesomeness I'm surprised the page didn't burst into flame XD Too bad it was so short though. |

| Haha, of course he would be the best to tell if someone's punch is weak. I was assuming someone would get the credit for him defeating the monster as well. Like people would say the other heroes weakened it first. But with those pages and the giant hole in the monster it seemed pretty clear he was the one to do it. @_@ |

| Perhaps the witnesses refuse to accept such an anticlimactic battle and credit the licenseless driver? Because he WAS kind of cool with his role, even if he couldn't do much. Seems unlikely, but the way I see it, it's either that or Saitama getting the credit (which is also unlikely, given his track record). Liked the chapter though. 5/5. |

| I don't like the new version since he took out the scene that showed the punch's force. Presumably so that the crowd could convince themselves that he didn't hit it that hard :/ Him not getting credit was expected, but still aggravating. I really wanted him to just beat that guy to within an inch of his life and then explain to everyone that, whether or not they were successful, the fact that they tried to save everyone makes them heroes. And that even if they assumed that success was required, then they should remember all the times that the heroes had saved them in the past and be grateful that they had lived this long. Or just beat him to within an inch of his life and let them draw their own conclusions about his opinions on the matter ;) Unfortunately, this will make it even harder for him to get credit for saving people in the future. Even if he only takes out enemies stronger than the Sea King, and does it where everyone can see, they'll just assume someone else did all the heavy lifting behind the scenes. He'll never be acknowledged for his work, which defeats the purpose of joining the association in the first place. |
| The douchebag has a point, but it became invalid when you still have to rely on others to save your own ass. If I am I a situation when I can't save myself, I would be very grateful whoever came to rescue me. I am really disappointed at the crowd's mentality. After all these people went through together with the heroes that had fallen, Saitama shouldn't have to resort to this for them acknowledge the ones that weren't able to defeat that monster. Saitama is a true hero because he doesn't really give a fuck from being acknowledge but these bunch of assholes that can't recognize true greatness even if it bites them in their ass! |

| This quote came to mind when I read the new version of this chapter" "Saitama is the hero the city needs, but not the one it deserves." Those people really pissed me off when they were saying all that crap, but I'm glad that Saitama made sure that the other heroes were acknowledged, although he sacrified his acknowledgement for it. He is sort of like the Dark Knight when you think about it. |
