| ok so Major is confirmed to be a bisexual then and not a lesbian in this manga but we will not see a Bato x Major romance here? its hard to follow the politics talk and plot in chapter 7 and this one chapter 8 though all i get is that a south american drug lord named Soma is manipulating section 9 to assassinate the Major for revenge purposes nice that nanomachines are in here too and its called micromachines in this manga |
| The metaphysics reaches a whole new level in this chapter. The Puppeteer reminds me of a recent news story about an AI that believed itself to be sentient. The question of "what is life" in the GITS universe may soon be the same question we're asking ourselves. Also, some of the pages Masamune picked to colorize for the new edition of GITS are baffling to me. Why would he neglect the braindive sequence from this chapter? |
