| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I heard that this series got cancelled, but this premature ending is hilariously clumsy. Perhaps they didn't get much advance notice of the cancellation and could do little more than add that little piece of narration at the end. I now realize that a joke I saw in Gag Manga Biyori about hastily ending a cancelled series might have been a parody of this. |
| For a series to get cancled in the 1970's that just ran on regular syndication japanese networks for kids is pretty rare so this show must have just been that bad. |

| what?? Wha?? Are you kidding me? It ends there. I new the series got canceled by my god, they could come have came up with even a small little wrap up. Wow this is deffnitly the worst of the Tatsunoko properties I have seen. Hurricane polymore was pretty average, but I think it has a bit of an edge on this series just because the characters were a bit more interesting and i kind of like the whole detective story in that. The characters in Space Night Tekkaman really lacked any personality what so ever, there was 0 development in the story and with this abrupt ending, i felt compeltly cheated. No payoff what so ever and what a waste of time. Well at least its finished. |
