Which added to the whole creepy atmosphere behind it. And once the driver started panicking the goose bumps started to build up. I have to admit I'm curious why as well, but as Stephen King once said, “Nightmares exist outside of logic, and there's little fun to be had in explanations; they're antithetical to the poetry of fear.” Perhaps leaving that edge of mystery is what made it all the more interesting. At least for me. |

Ive noticed that in Japanese horror, sometimes even normal, good people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time (whereas in US horror, most of the folks offed are guilty of some sort of transgression or have crossed some moral line). There's not always a direct reason. I think that's part of the reason its so creepy, you never find out the reason why, probably because there really is none. |

| 惨拝 zanbai in the story the men were bowing their arms down wards as if they were workshiping something. banzai is when you raise your arms up. banzai means ten thousand years which is suppose to mean something like glorious. zanbai in kanji 惨拝 means disaster offering. 惨拝 惨 meaning things like misrable/disaster/bad omen and shit. 拝 is to offer/workship/pray. |

| Intimidating, indeed. The shortness and the fact that not everything is possible to be unveiled, hence we're left with not knowing the root of all of the events is even more scary. |

| That zanbai thing freaked me out...omg, that was so fucking scary. Just how it was animated...so freaky. Wow, that was such a rush. And it's only the afternoon... I will never watch this show at night. Although that "cheer" is going to haunt me in my sleep. Sooo good. |
