K-ON!
| I think yes, because in this serie there are only girls, the school is for girls only, Mio fan club has only girls, who also have a sickly obsession with her, the main characters never fall in love with a man and they only think in each other. Besides the group is very intimate, they're always hounding Asuza-chan, using bizarre outfits, touching each other, this show is itself feminist and the men seem forbbiden. I never saw a man in this show(except the Ritsu's brother who doesn't look like man). What do you think? Is K-On a yuri anime? |

| Well... no, not really. Shoujo-ai, if even. Sometimes we can see characters touching or saying flirty stuff to each other, but that looks more if they were just joking. I would say Yuruyuri would be barely considered shoujo-ai. K-on is like 1\10 of yuruyuri, if not even less. |

| No. There are also NO UNDERTONES OR SUBTEXT of any kind relating to it. Anyone claiming such is simply putting it in in their mind - just like shipping bullshit. There is no factual, no canonical, no hinted at, implied, or joked about lesbianism in this show outside of about 2 jokes relating to Mugi in season 1. Never comes up again, never happens from any other characters. Saying K-ON has yuri or shoujo-ai undertones/subtext is like saying Azumanga Daioh (kaorin excluded) has them. |

| Yuri? Definitely not Shoujo-Ai? Closer, but I'd still say no It's generally just girls being cuddly and friendly with eachother, there's never any signs of actual romance in between them (other than Asuza mistakingly believing Yui likes her at some points) |

She even tries to kiss her in one episode but get pushed away But I prefer stronger Yuri where the romance between the females get in the spotlight And Yuri doesn't mean sex between females like someone claims. Yuri translate into Lily in Japanese and are a term they use when they portrays lesbians or strong spiritual relationship between females in manga or anime  |
