Okay now for serious answer. :P
First is Kirino of course, for what else am I watching this show? Hehehh.. And my second answer would be Manami, childhood friend who always close to protagonist since their childhood always have my support. Third is both Ayase and Kuroneko, I can't ignore their love for Kyousuke, seriously.. It's so sad when they got rejected.:( Last is Kanako,, That was a brave confession, Kanako! :)

Late answer: I was not criticizing the fact of choosing Kirino, but saying things like "incest FTW" when you're that old.

Fuck you OP and Fuck you haters, Manami is the best choice, and she was the best character in this pretty shitty show. If it werent for her this last special would have gotten a 3 from me and that only for the effort of producing something like this and the occasional chuckles its comedy gave me.

well jus finished watching the series and i got to say the character roles is jus messed up.

Kuroneko:- interesting character with her disillusion of being from another dimension. However the series shows she have great insight as she can predict ( or accurately calculate the possible outcome) of most situations. especially when it deals with Kyouske.

Kanako:- interesting character as well. very talented but seems a bit too self-centered. Need of praises too much. kinda annoying at times.

Ayase:- somewhat the most normal person in the cast with the exception of her violent streak against Kyousuke and the some what yander for kirino.

Kirino:- NOT sister material EVER!!!!. Come on i was jus pissed at her attitude. She was more of the popular girl at school type that thinks she walks on the clouds and everyone (Kyousuke) is so far below that they barely exist. I dont give 2 sh*t what happen in the past gives her no right to behave that way.

Saroi:- one of my favorite character. sad she did not get more screen time. maybe it is jus me but i liked bajeena alot more than Makishima. She is the perfect childhood friend material. She pretty much gets Kyousuke and tease him alot. Their relationship was always shown as platonic. She also was there helping him to improve his relationship with his sister.

Manami: i like Manami but i think her role was wrong. She could have been perfect if played Kyousuke's sister. probably cause i have sisters that i can see Manami fit this role. She always knows when something is wrong, always there to listen, does not judge him, always wants him happy. It would have been perfect it she was the sister and not Kirino. but i guess it would spoil the plot.on a side note: I saw a clip with Manami and Kyousuke that got me to check out the series in the first place

My pick for Kyousuke would be in this order:
1. Kuroneko
2. Ayase
3. Saori

on a side note there is one epsiode (think it is s2 E11) where we see ayase and Ruri together and they pretty much look alike except have different hair style.

Well, even after watching and reading everything, I still think Manami is the best option. She has been the one to help him with everything, and even if she did contribute to his downfall, it was almost entirely his own fault for it. Also I don't really like the whole first-girl gets the main protagonist thing, and even setting that aside, Kirino just doesn't feel right to be the one to end up with him.

Also, if it wouldn't be Manami, then Saori 100%, because they would be too damn cute.
