| Akagi's an interesting character, but his laugh is so obnoxious. The narrator is also annoying and obnoxious, only serving to make it sound cheesy. It's entertaining to watch Akagi screw with people, and that's probably the only reason I'd care to keep watching this. In regard to Mahjong, I've already got Saki for that. |

| To win big, one must cast aside all rationality and go all out right from the get-go. Akagi. It's very intimidating that he can be the definition of chill while being the exact opposite all at the same time. Playing a short game of Russian Roulette with a blind old man who's gonna square off against you in Mahjong later that night was one way to break the ice. Not only did both of them not waver from the gun being pointed right at them, both of them did very cold and calculated analyzations to predict and control the outcome of the shots. Akagi went batshit insane with that revolver but those punks deserved every single shred of fear in their hearts for the liberties they took in beating him up. I wonder how shooting someone in both their legs would be less intense than a game of Mahjong~ |

| oh, F*CK! i thought this show and akagi couldn't get better... until it did. the tears flowing unbidden with a gun propped between that guy's teeth, the visceral reaction at being told to stop moving...because his finger is on the trigger. this is wild. |
| Good episode, but I have to say that the gun part at the end had some cringy dialogues. It was a good scene, but damn. "When I was a kid, I squished a bug. I feel the same now as I did then." sounds way too cheesy... |
