It's pretty funny because I always root for the main male character in these kind of shoujo manga so I always end up happy, hehe. This is the first time I'm rooting for the underdog but that doesn't mean I don't like Shishio. They're both awesome in their own way and I hope they stay like that to the end no matter who Suzume ends up with! |

| Shishio and Susume! But in the recent chapters, one cannot easily hate Mamura. I have no trouble shipping Shishio and Suzume over Mamura and Suzume but you can't deny that in chapter 59, Mamura was really sweet and you could think that he is better for Suzume. | hahahahaaaa, she will say yes to Mamura and then it will be few chapters of happy days and Shishio having to suffer looking at them until he cant take it anymore.....and it will all go down the gutter :D otherwise the manga would end. Lol i still have a feeling it will end up with Shizume considering how unusually fast paced this manga is when it comes to age of the characters ;D Usually it drags like hell, but in HnR they are already 17 ;o almost graduation time ;D! |

Someone asked her in English when she opened her new twitter account about 2 months ago (@whoknowsmika3) and she answered that yes, she knows the ending. It's buried somewhere in her tweets and I can't be bothered to find it (sue me lmao) but trust me, it's there. At this point both guys have a 50-50 chance as indicated by the poll which happens very very rarely and only when an author or mangaka knows exactly what they're doing, muahaha. I can't wait to see what Suzume does. |
| I still believe that this manga will take a more realistic turn in the end and pair Suzume with Mamura. Oh I hope so! :P I'm perfectly aware that it's a shojo manga - and shojo mangas follow their own rules: girl's first love stays girl's first love, love against all odds, main characters ending up together, und so weiter... but I can hardly see a happy and endless relationship between a 15- and 24-year old charas. It's not that I'm against relationships with big age difference, I honestly don't mind. But such a difference at such a young age is too big of a gap. Shishio is Suzume's first, pure (if not platonic) love. She should not share it with an experienced adult man whose point of view on world and relationships is completely different from hers. Her first relationship should be something subtle, delicate and romantic and Mamura is a perfect partner for that. He's as innocent and fragile as Suzume. They'd be perfect for each other :D |

But between who has been there for Suzume instead of messing with her feelings yet still feeling the same thing I love them both. But I am going for Mumura ,he is so honest and adorable. |

| I ship Mamura x Suzume. I usually go for the teacher character but I don't find Shishio's character all that interesting nor do I feel the chemistry between him and Suzume. I'm not saying that Mamura is better for her but this is just my preference. I prefer Mamura as a character and I think he and Suzume could be a good match. However, I think Shishio x Suzume will most probably be end game. |

| to be honest, it will be really refreshing if mamura gets the girl. unlike most other love triangles, the underdog is really well fleshed out here and has a depth to him which makes one root for him. Not to mention, I don't find any real chemistry between shisho and suzume. something to do with his character I guess. This manga will be more memorable if it breaks the shojo cliche and brings something new to the plate. it has potential. .it's all up to the author to see how it can be utilised. |

Shes his student, and a teenager :/ I wouldn't mind so much if they did a time skip to when she's in her 20's and meets Shishio again, but right now theres no way. (Either way i still prefer Mamura though). Mamura is a sweetheart. Chapter 64 just proves how lovely he is <3 |
