| Hiromu Arakawa is drawing a manga adaption of the light novel "The Heroic Legend of Arslan" by Yoshiki Tanaka. The adaption will appear in the June issue of the magazine Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. Hiromu Arakawa is a well-known mangaka for her works like Fullmetal Alchemist and Hero Tales. Yoshiki Tanaka is a well-know writer of light novels which include the Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The Heroic Legend of Arslan was previously adapted in a manga by Chisato Nakamura. It has also been turned into two movies and a four-part OVA series. Source: ANN Story by ibrahim2712 |

| As much as I love Arslan and Arakawa. I don't think this a great combination, Arakawa's art isn't particularly good for an adaptation work, specially this one, I prefer when she does her own original works. |

| Probably the best news I've heard in a while. I was just thinking I'd like to read the novelized 'Heroic Legend of Arslan'. And in 2013 as well. This HAS to be good. |

I notice a lot of OVA series in the 90s got fucking cancelled. Especially when the story and world is so good. |
