| Pretty obvious Kirino was making her relationship with Mikagami up to make Kyousuke jealous. It's so obvious. She yearns for Kyousuke's attention and she is the one who's jealous because of Ruri and Manami. She so dishonest, ugh. And uhm, why did their mother not move a finger after Kirino slapped him? Kyousuke was being an asshole, but still. Lol @ drunk dad. That was kinda hilarious. So Kyousuke was going to act for his dad, yet he gave in and told Kirino what she wanted to hear anyway, wimp. It's going to be 'you can't date anyone and I won't date anyone either' in the end, that's my guess. But until then, we'll get some Shironeko action, yeah! |

But ep6 ALMOST one-upped even that by slapping on more 'is she or isn't she dating!?' melodrama, as well as turning Kirino into EVEN MORE of a bitch in the process. S1 was a lot of fun and never crossed the line beyond hilarious lil' bitch sis relationship development via otakuism. All S2 has done is have Kirino continue acting like she's had NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, mixed with drama. UGH! Kuroneko really is all that can save this show. Maybe the yandere with her Higurashi moments, as well. But, given the title and who the heroine is, it's obvious it's either going to end with incest or some arse-pull 'you're really cousins, and sex with cousins is a-ok in Japan' bullshit. A Sankaku light novel 'ragequit' article over Kuroneko means I already know where this route with her is going to go, so even though Kuroneko will be taking over, it's only a temp fix. And that idiot brother will no doubt STILL be pining for tsuntsun incest. |
| meh, i think it's really nice how kyousuke is all crazy about kirino having a new boyfriend. girls these days just date whoever without a second opinion and that just leads to teenage pregnancies and whatever. it's nice to have a big bro to look out for their little sister. though idk, this anime may be a little incestuous but whatever. kuroneko though... she is freaking cute |

I would agree with you if we were discussing the 1st season...no, even the very first episodes of the 1st season. They WERE alike, they are not anymore. Ruri did act in the same way as Kirino did. Just remember those episodes when Kirino started to pick on Ruri and Ruri fought back with swearing and all that kinda stuff. What do we see now? Kirino picks on Ruri in this episode and what happens? Our beloved Ruri doesn't engage in meaningless, stupid arguments. She has matured enough over 2 seasons not to do that. Ruri has dignity, Kirino lacks it and still acts in the same way as she did in the 1st season. She shows absence of character development at this moment! And this confession! I always knew Ruri was shy, but it took hell-of-a-lot of willpower and courage to confess! Those few moments were priceless. Could Kirino ever do the same? Never, until she stops being a spoiled brat. All I said is even more obvious in LN, as the characters are described much more thoroughly in it. |

| w00t!! OH YEAH!! Too many Kirino fans on this page, so let me balance it a bit. Man, this is the best episode yet. So full of win with even just Kuroneko. Just when I thought it can't get any better with that confession earlier in the episode... she asks him out! Never a dull moment - Ayase going yandere mode more than once, and Kirino faking a relationship because she was jealous of all the attention Kyousuke was giving the other girls (even though she herself gets the lion's share of his attention). Let the shuraba commence. |

The anime skipped a few parts in vol.7 though... but if you just want to see what happens next, then vol.8 is your best bet. Vol.9 contains side stories from the other character's point of view, where some of them are hilarious reads. |

Watch episode 6 of the first season, and the first half of episode 11, and you'll see that Kirino has a strong dislike of Manami who's a very nice and polite girl. And lol at Manami, a glasses girl (meganekko), being more interested in the fact that he had porn with girls wearing glasses, than the fact that he had porn laying out at all. Regarding Kuroneko, Kirino hates how close they seem to have gotten since she went to the US during the True Route episodes, where Kuroneko transferred to his school and is in the same club as him. In this episode and the previous one, they show Kirino looking at Kyousuke and Kuroneko, and she has a look of jealousy/scorn. Hence why she did all that stuff with the fake boyfriend. It's probably natural that a teenager would be a little jealous of an opposite sex member spending time with their sibling, but Kirino does seem to take it to unhealthy levels. That is basicly correct. |

| Great episode, and another reason why Kuroneko should end up with Kyousuke. Not sure the series will end as it does in the LN. The first series didn't so why should this? It could in lots of ways, and then they release a "True end" like they did last time. Haven't read the LNs (yet) but stupidly clicked a spoiler tab. :( |
