| That was a good speech about the usual friendship and awesomeness of dueling. I really enjoyed the duel overall and Darkness' design was badass. "However even if I am defeated I embody true darkness, one day I shall be resurrected in this world once more!" "That may be true, but as long as we duelists believe in our potential you'll be waiting a long time." Interesting conversation hmmmm |

| Nice conclusion, but I wasn't a big fan of this arcs plot overall. Aside from the character driven episodes, Judai's developed personality and some cool moments occasionally, I easily prefered the Yubel arc. |

| Honestly this duel would've been a lot more interesting if it had taken place anywhere else on the island, like maybe the roof of the Duel Academia building similar to Ryo vs Manjoume in the GX manga. Having Judai duel Darkness aka the final villain in front of the school just felt underwhelming tbh. Also it's interesting how the future world that Darkness showed Judai looked a lot like the destroyed future world in 5D's. |
| Divine Neos finally took the stage! Going to e an interesting end to the series though. 2 episodes to wrap up after the final battle instead of just 1. Wonder how they'll not make it feel overly dragged out after the first. |
