| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I didn't really like this episode. Judai is way too cocky for my taste and he didn't even keep it up, what was up with at the end him acknowledging that he might have won by luck? That doesn't fit with what we've seen before, the fight didn't look any harder. And of course the sidekicks who are in the strongest group yet probably belong in the weakest. Can't have a shounen anime without them. |

| Pretty fun, Juudai vs Asuka, while Chronos tried to frame and get him kicked out of the academia. Also I think the Osiris red professor confused the show he is in, this ain't FMA bro!  Why are they even teaching them alchemy in a school for card games, lmao. |

| I really like this! The more slice of life beginning to me is allright to set up the the world and characters. I also prefer Judai over Yugi. He is the opposite of him. Cocky and full of confidence! Waifu material also way better then Duel Monsters! |

That word implies that he's got arrogance or a big ego, even though that's the opposite of his personality. He enjoys dueling for the fun of it and is rarely competitive. |
| I kind of feels like the show knows it's full of itself, so it just immediately dives head first into a goof-fest. I'm guessing Asuka/Alexis exists as a Kaiba expy, but is also a potential ship for the protagonist. Also, these 4Kids dub edits are pretty amazing. They really went the extra mile to make it both child friendly and Americanized as all hell. Aside from the westernized names and various dub-isms, the girls getting bathing suits edited on looked hilariously bad, as it they were added with MS Paint. |
