| Holy crap, I just watched all 24 episodes in these past 2 days. The first half of the series was exhilarating, I couldn't stop watching. The back and forth logic fights were absolutely genius. However, after the first half, the series started to calm down. It had a much slower pace and a few scenes were a bit dragged on. The ending was fine in regards to matching the pace and feel of the second half of the series. However, if I were to compare the ending to the first half of the series, it would only be mediocre. True it had some cheeky, funny, and smart moments but it just doesn't compare to the first half. I'm a sucker for romance animes, so I really wished they showed more of the Hakaze and Yoshino relationship. However, knowing there going to be together and leaving the rest to imagination is probably best. |

| Loved every minute of this series. Watched it all the way back in the winter season and tried to keep up with the episodes every Thursday. I'm glad to say this was an enjoyable ride. From Yoshino and Aika all the way to the end with Yoshino and Hakaze. Loved it, although Samon and all them, I'd like to see what they're doing now. And I want to see who Mahiro was talking about, good for him. Good for Hanemura as well, getting back woman! Loved it. 10/10. |

| A very decent ending. I really liked this anime, however a few episodes from the second season were a bit boring, so it's 8/10 for me. |

| Well the series was great overall, but the Dialogue was pretty damn heavy after the 2nd half of the series; the reason being for this is because the talking was non-stop throughout this period of the series and we barely if not had no action. The only exception to this would be the short 1-2 min battles and even if the final battle with the Tree was underwhelming. However it had great character development overall, so 8/10 from me. |

| I WAS SO HOPING FOR A KISS!!! :( But overall, good anime, nice way of ending it! Gonna miss watching this anime every week. Just hope there's going to be a better one this coming up season! |

| Great conclusion! Everything go wrapped up nicely. Shame we didn't get to see a kiss at the end though. Aika teasing them until the very end was hilarious too. xD Overall a very deep series. I really enjoyed it because it was something different. 8/10. |

| Sword out of nowhere made the fight seem rushed, but oh well. Character resolutions went well; everybody happy, I guess. (Jun? Who's that?) Consistent story overall, so 8/10 |

| 7/10 good plot, decent characters, interesting premise, mediocre execution first half was stronger than the second for sure. there's one thing about this show. it kind of disinterests me i guess. like, i'm not that excited to watch it per week... i'm off the read the last chap of the manga now! |
| I'm one of those who really liked the start and watching the great back and forth between the characters. Still some interesting moments later on but I wish there was more of them. Maybe it is because I didn't particularly care for Hanemura. Except for laughing at what I thought looked like pineapples crossed with duran fruits flying at him. |

| Everything went smoothly until the end. Unlike some other animes, that has quick endings and you don't know what the hell had happened. Also, I just love the way Aika cares for Mahiro and Yoshino (>ワ<) 8/10 for me. |

| Guys, the Sword o Exodus wasn't exactly out of nowhere. Remember that Samon wanted to use the Tree of Exodus since the beginning to destroy the other one. Hanemura just did that. Anyway, despite the gun shoot trick being cheap, I give this episode 9/10. 9/10 to the series as a whole too. |
| Aikaaaaa! Even in death she never changes, haha. This show's evolved in to something entirely different from my first impressions. I didn't expect the heavy emphasis on reasoning and logic but in hindsight, it was an enjoyable ride. So much has happened with Hakaze's time travel, the multi-episode debate with Samon mid-way through and the twist later on. The characters really grew on me, Yoshino and Mahiro are really the most unusual duo and Hakaze never ceased to impress. OP's and ED's were great, but I prefer the second batch. That's when the plot really took off. I think it's an unusual show but it's won me over with its charm. 8/10. |
| Although the story would never have been as good/emotional/powerful, if Aika survived or brought back to life somehow like Hakaze did, I still wish there were an alternate ending to this to accompany this like an OVA where she lives in the end. ...I'm alright with a weaker story if that were the only trade-off. |

| Pretty good anime, the manga is over as well (according to wiki). I feel like something was missing and also after the first 12 episode the series took a little ridiculous turn of event but it turned out great so no complain XD An OVA would be great to conclude the license... |

| Well, I wasn't that much suprised as for an ending episode. It was just like ordonary 25 episode shounen anime would end ; Time for a new beginnings and etc. . "All's well that ends well " - Shakespeare :) . I'm gonna write a review for this this title because in spite of everything it was worthy watching. |

| Not only did Yoshino get with Aika, now he's hooking up with Hakaze!? Who's next, Evangeline!? Lucky bastard... Overall, a good anime. I liked how everything was so bombastic, even the music. Typical Bones anime. 7/10 |

| Aika is such a troll, lol. This was a great series for me. It was entertaining, fun, and majority of the characters were really good, even the new annoying guy who saved the world. 9/10 because a lot of the others i've been finishing sucked balls, and i'm tired of pointing out flaws.... |
| This show hit all the right notes for me. It wasn't particularly subtle or nuanced, but then again, why should it be subtle or nuanced? It's a fucking anime about crazy mages and apocalyptic trees. The music was also so over the top but in a perfect way. It had the score of a Shakespearean tragedy and that's exactly what they were going for. It handled the tone shifts quite well and didn't fall apart after the big twist, which happens more often than not (many shows peak in the ante-penultimate or penultimate episode) and the ending was definitely satisfying to me (I know people wanted to see a kiss, but I liked the cut. It's enough to know that they did). Hanakana always blows my mind and this was no exception. In general I thought the voice cast was stellar, but Aika in particular was a terrific character, and Hanakana is definitely a big part of that. They did a really good job deifying Aika - she was supposed to look like the perfect girl, and they nailed it. It reminded me of the way Cameron Crowe made Kate Hudson look in Almost Famous - you were supposed to see her like a goddess because that's how Russell saw her. Same thing her. Yoshino and Mahiro both saw her as the girl of their dreams, and they conveyed it well by making her seem sorta perfect. Burned through this in a few days and it was a joy to watch. 9/10 |

| ....and another 2-cour anime is knocked off my list. The first 1/2 of this show was borderline 9/10... but the second half of this series was much weaker. Overall, a 7.5/10 for me. |

I basically have the same opinion, as i really enjoyed the first 12 episodes, but I felt the tone of the series drastically changed after that. Stll, I enjoyed the ending so overall it's a 7 for me. |
