I actually commented my journey through this in the club already, so here're my thoughts: http://imgur.com/p5pXVos Notably, the show wouldn't have been half as fun without MANLY-SUBS's perfect subbing. Like how they made the guy call his daughter an /a/tard, that "ROCKET PUNCH" when the boss punches that red-haired kid, and their random parenthesized TL notes ("COCK GOES HERE" afront a normal and unsuspecting =O-face). The first episode was a lot better than the second. I actually don't think I've seen much hentai apart from Golden Boy... was that all? Can't remember. Anyway, that made Rapeman a pretty fresh experience for me, but I still can't say I enjoyed it as much as any of my 6s, so a solid 5 (which means 'alright' on my scale) and I'm actually left wanting more. | Bondage Game: Shinsou no Reijoutachi It only has 2 episodes, so you'll have to watch it entirely. Genocyber Score: 1/10 This is easily one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever seen in my life. This is Mars of Destruction in 5 episodes. The narration is appalling, the pieces just don't fall in place. The political background is pointless and discarded, the new background of the 3rd story is also pointless, nonsensical and lacking information, the continuity between the 3 stories is laughable, characters are either one-dimensional or zero-dimensional and they do stuff for no reason, dumb melodrama permeates all the episodes, the gore that was funny in the beginning becomes shit as it goes on, tons of questions are left unanswered, powers and abilities are all taken out of the ass, the starting device is all nonsensical technobabble, retarded shock effect with random scenes that don't even have a purpose to the story, the animation is awful and seems to be missing frames, the soundtrack has like what? 3 8-bit tunes? This is awful beyond belief. I can't believe humanity was capable of degrading itself so low to the point of producing such a catastrophe of ass. |

Oh boy where do I start? Story 4/10, no no no 10/10 Well, this doesn't happen very often, I can't help but realise the absolute mediocrity of this movies story, but it is executed at such a mediocre level that I can't help but call it a masterpiece of bad cinema. It's got everything from conspiracy, awesome action sequences, mnh, the not-so damzel in distress who becomes subjugated to some weird form of Stockholm Syndrome, a big macho fella who can't do anything right, the wheelchair man who wields shotguns!, and don't forget that great woman. and something about the devil thrown in, oh and best of all... VAMPIRES!! A lovey dovey one at that, but what this has say in comparison to other vampire love stories is quite inept because technically Twilight is shit and using this as a serious comparable piece of cinema to Twilight would be highly questionable. This show encompasses some of the greatest dialogue EVER, the people who love this love to tell and not show, which can work in certain films but in this by the end of many scenes you have been so stuffed with information that all I could do was stand boogie-eyed at the screen wondering who on earth talks like that????? sound 3/10 The sound, with the voice actors which across tje board weren't that spectacular I can say that at least I remember it, but the score, mmmhh, not so gimme more, a week after reminiscing about the series, I've completely forgotten about it, I don't know if anyone else considers this a heads up for overall quality, but it certainly defines something. Art 6/10 Pretty good for its time, but I must say that it still pales in comparison to the only other major substantial sources that I have seen from the period and that is mostly world masterpiece theatre, which is a good comparison considering that this show clearly has influences in world masterpeice theatre, its not bad so naturally it reaches the staggering heights of basically okay. Characters -/- There is no possible way that I can effectively score the characters in this movie. Enjoyment 6/10 What I liked about this movie was simply how good it managed to make bad look. Along a similar lines to say something like Inferno cop. |
