| My second attempt at getting into this crap. What a nightmare. Cockroach family sales bread, imaginary world and matrix coming out of nowhere, girl that used to be a fukkin' batman, punchbag-Sunohara aka "LOLcomic_reliefLOL - it's not funny though! TROLOLOLO", cookie-cutter moeblobs... ...WTF is this? This time I'll finish crapnad! I'll prove my manliness and endure this horror! FOR THE EMPEROR! |

| Ok, this episode really surprised me. Yeah, I've heard enough overhypes about Clannad, but still I dare to say that I got even little more than what I expected. The characters are great, especially Tomoya. Nagisa's family is great too, and her father just rules the scene! The animation is so-o-o-o-o good, I just didn't see it coming. Especially the girls' eyes - they express so much emotions, it's hard to actually explain it :0 I like very much the background themes. And there are hints that the story can take some very interesting direction. I'm yet have to watch the OP and the ED with the next episode. Easily 10/10 for now. This anime seems to combine too well nostalgic feelings, melancholy and even comedy. |

| Finally started watching this XD I have to say I'm surprised, it's not at all what I expected :P I thought the opening sequence was really well done with its muted colours before flashing to its full brightness XD I didn't really like the OP at all, but the animation was good. It sounded like she couldn't sing lol, but I liked how it introduced the characters. The ED was pretty cute :P I actually like Tomoya more than I thought. His personality is very interesting XD Didn't expect him to be so hateful and downhearted or whatever :P Although why do so many people have annoying voices? I mean I hate Nagisa's already and she's such a mash up of everything I hate in characters. Even got a weak body too ... OTL Ryou's voice is annoying too. Although I kinda like Kyou XD Tomoyo too, she's pretty cool :P Although kicking someone off a motorbike?! Uh ... OK O_o Nagisa's family is really weird. Crybaby of a mother, her father's better but still kind of odd :S Tomoya's got a disfunctional family too (surprise, surprise) with a dead mother and alcoholic father ... I wonder what that part with the young girl and Nagisa at the end was about though? Take him away to a part of town where wishes come true? Hmm ... o_O More girls next episode. The animation was a lot better than I expected. I was ready to hate the art but it's actually pretty good lol. It seems like Tomoya lives at the school or something? o_O |
| I finally decided to watch Clannad after hearing only good things about it. Thus far, its a very calm anime, but I'm not necessarily amazed or disappointed. Let's see how this anime goes. I couldn't stop laughing during the ED for some reason. |

| Probably since you're watching Chuunibyou. But it seems you haven't watch any Key shows(Air, Kanon, Little Busters) so you don't know how Key portrays their characters. |

| clannad's character designs makes it looks like itd be crap, but im surprised from the first episode the undercurrent emotion in all the scenes. the artistic direction is smart, i like how flashback and current time is seamlessly entwined. the music is good, and nagisa's family is a riot. a lot of these harem mcs get on my nerves, but main guy seems confident and relatable. ill bite. |

| Watched first episode. IMHO only Nagisa looks kawaii with those eyes, every other girl is "meh". Also haven't cried yet so is that a good sign or no? |
