When Ceasar died, I was like "oh shit." and then when they extended that ending and made it more dramatic, I almost cried.

I would say something like "I cried when Caesar died" or something... but it really doesn't help when you barely have any emotions. Sorry. But it was really well written.

All the feels ;_; Such a simply mistake too, can't see how caesar would've messed up like that. Guess he got careless with victory in his grasp.

Also, I'm I the only one who found it kinda odd that Jojo and LisaLisa didn't try to go in as soon as they saw the arm?

Damn Caesar... Why you die so early?!

Eventhough I knew that he was going to die when looking at the opening (it was so obvious and I hate them for spoiling that), I thought he would die maybe around towards the end episode 24 or 25. Seriously all Zeppeli die so young, I wonder Joseph would be like his grandfather...

Couldnt they just use the stone of aja to destroy the hotel, thus letting the sunlight kill cars and wham? and why did ceaser attack from an angle that hides the sun? he could have just let the sun kill wham or use his bubble cutter again which is a sure hit

Episode 20 is probably my favorite in the series so far. Ceaser carries on the Zeppeli tradition of dying while fighting alongside a Jojo. Really enjoyed that battle between him and Wammu also. Best done fight yet. You could really feel the emotion from both Jojo and Lisa Lisa at the end there. R.I.P my bubble hamon dude.

"Lisa, your cigarette is backwards."

Hands down the best scene in JoJo so far. I can't say I grew such a strong attachment to Caesar through the arc, but the reactions to his death were very heartbreaking, and there's something about Lisa Lisa that I found specially devastating here. Maybe because I'm a fan of this whole "strong surface breaking down" trope, or that the way it was delivered was surprisingly elegant given the emotionally overloaded context. But it worked really well.

A great episode, overall. I'm only missing some extra attachment to the characters in this series that makes me enjoy it in terms of a more personal involvement. This was a step in the good direction, so I hope the last episodes of the arc make it end in a good note.

So that is the spoiler people were saying the OP had, when Joseph picks Caesar's bandana and puts its on his head... damm poor Caesar I was hoping he will live with Joseph long years in the future have a family, I guess Zepelin's bloodline is done now, since Caesar didnt had any son right?

Naww man, not Caesar...he was really growing on me!!! Should've seen it coming once his past got revealed tho.

The ending was pretty powerful too with the symbolism, I shed a tear actually.
At least we know where Joseph's bandana in the OP is from now...the poor Zeppeli's have one helluva a fate, always sacrificing themselves- is this gonna be a reoccurring thing??

Caesar had a dad called Mario and he was Italian and not a plumber - I feel he missed a good joke like when Assassin's Creed II had the guy who comes up all like "it'sa me Mario" lol. Although maybe he would've got sued for that lol.

Awww, I can't believe his dad abandoned him to try and save the world without telling him and then saved him without even realising it was him so he must've been quite a good person to want to save humanity and save a person he thought to be a stranger.

His bubble attacks were really good and quite effective until he forget he cast a shadow and sort of overrode the effect and got in the way of the sun, very silly Caesar indeed.

Awww, he still tried to fight but then couldn't but at least he took the antidote from him and put it in a bubble.

I can't believe he died in the end, that was so sad and got crushed by that rubble.

Awww, JoJo and Lisa Lisa cried. But yes they should've got there quicker and helped out.

I will miss Caesar, he was cool, his bubble attack a mix of awesome and weird but he was hot <3

RIP Ceasar :'(

Jojo and Ceasar ended on a bad note, but Ceasar still gave up his last bit of energy for his friend.

I haven't seen too many anime series, but this is easily one of the best and most emotional episodes I have seen

For me this is really so far the worst episode. Why the **** do JoJo and Lisa need HOURS to get to Ceasar? In one scene they are quite near the hole, in the next one we see them standing behind a wall quite far the builing. This made the whole scene afterwards just hilariously stupid. I really loved the series so far, but this is really annoying. They should've been there way earlier.
I like anime, games and music.

It was a good episode but I can't help but be the stick in the mud here.

1) Why the heck did Caesar's father not leave a letter or explain before going, he could even ask a friend to arrange something to block out the relatives from legally inheriting his estate, e.g. a trust fund that incrementally flows income only to the children with certain rules for withdrawals and members.

Even being a very naive man who believes his family could do no wrong, he could at least ask his best friend within the family to guide and look after the children. To me this is just a rather forced situation to garner sympathy from the audience.

2) So Jojo and Caesar had a disagreement. They're friends, comrades that have faced death itself, so would it hurt you to at least closely follow him? What the fk was lisalisa, the 'seniorita' doing taking her sweet ass time strolling towards the lair. Same with jojo, just taking a nice morning walk towards the mansion. They have a car as well, so no excuses if they were trying to steady their breath, which again is farfetched as they're bouncing all over the place when they're fighting.

Again, the manga might explain better but I can remember loads of heartwrenching character's death that felt far more 'justified'. And putting a fancy ass cross rubble and a crescendo of opera music doesn't change that.

3) When you spend just a minute on this, you realise... they cheapened Caesar's death, his sacrifice. Rip Caesar, you magnificent bastard.

Nonetheless it was a heartwrenching conclusion, and one I did not see coming.

It's been a fairly long time since I cried this much over someone's death in anime...
I broke down the same time the two couldn't handle the grief anymore ;_;
The Zeppeli tradition of sacrifice truly is a tragic one.
