wonderful episode, his debt will not be counted since the game will be cancelled if that was the thing you asked.Anyways, this was definitely one of the best episodes among all the episodes of any anime airing this fall, looking forward to more impatiently!

Yeah, awesome episode. That rain and delaying the game was nice executed. As expected from the creators of Kaiji and Akagi.

Good episode, Tokuchi was getting ripped up, but I learn that it is all according to his plan as always.

The walk-off homerun that Tokuchi orchestrated has pretty badass as always.

Lame episode...it all went as expected, also very overdramatized to the point of ridiculousness.

I didn't know that there was a rule like that where if it rains heavily before the end of the 5th inning, that the game will be cancelled. >_< Or is that rule only enforced in Japanese Baseball leagues?

I'm pretty sure that's only a rule in Japan. Here in America, if it rains, too bad, you finish the game. XD

Oh Tokuchi...you're quite devious. Although I didn't get that the manager's deal wouldn't hold if the game was canceled. I didn't know that was part of the contract.

I sorta want a chick in this series. It's very heavy on the testosterone. XD Everyone's all "GRRRR!!! MANLY BASEBALL GAME!! The depths of hell await you!".

Bigu Mama!!

My theory for why they have an end segment with the enthusiastic girl is due to the lack of female in the series.

That episode was awesome!
I liked that the main goal was finishing the hour and not winning the game. Brilliant!

That rule is in the US as well only it can happen at any inning as long as the umpires deem the weather a danger to the players.

:O Wow -- really? I've never seen a game canceled because of rain. I've seen games postponed though. Like, they'll pause the game until the rain lets up. But you're right that it's the umpire's call.

As for Big Mama...I guess she's female... But she's kinda dropped out of the series, hasn't she? :/

Who'll stop the rain? Clearly not Takami. More good stuff from this series, although I do have to wonder what is going to happen when it runs out of baseball rules to exploit.

Nah, they can call games because of rain in the states too. After a certain inning (I believe it's the 6th), though, the score of the game is still treated as the score of a complete game.

Tokuchi pulls such outlandish gambits, and he just kicked it up a notch. I love it! Also, the soundtrack to this is really good.

Well, this scenario is incredibly ridiculous like many other situations previously. Still, it's reasonably entertaining, though the over dramatizing is a turn off.

Dang this is spectacular!
I completely felt for it i thought he will be done for it, and agreeing that the teammates want him to take a break. But he tricked everyone and he set that plan up! Oh my god and rain too wow!
Rain is here and i don't know if the umpire will canceled it or not in Japanese.
And the money is ridiculously high and low. Owner is still enjoying him making his money low.
5/5 Great episode!

I thought it was well thought out cause I'm not a big baseball fan but I didn't think about the weather. I didn't know the weather applied to baseball too. Psychologically, it was a good strategy cause now all they have is an hour to win and they'll feel wayyyyyyyyyy more pressure.

This episode was awesome. Toua stalling the game till the rain gets the game canceled.

Isn't Tokuchi's salary going to take a serious hit due to all those runs he gave up? Man he doesn't give any fucks.

Toua's talk with the opposing team at the end made him look so evil... He really is a pretty cool anti-hero.

My favorite episode so far. 9/10

No, since if the game is cancelled then it is as if those runs never happened. He is basically taking it easy and stalling time to rest, since he has had to play 2 games in a row, and is now on his third where one run is 1billion yen and in his current condition, it is likely he will give up a run even if he tried.

Holy shit, that's so fucking clever! And now, not only his debt will be cancelled, but the 20x bonus will have to be applied on the next game, where he'll probably hve all his energy back! The owner is ruined, haha!! :D

I just want to see the owner lose his shit, it will be glorious. All he has to do now is to make the match drag on until its cancelled. If he manage that, he get the jackpot. If it's the opposite...

Exactly.
Pretty good strategy when you know you cant play properly on your 3rd consecutive game - Tokuchi planned everything all along :D
