| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seems like a very loose adaptation of one of my favorite films, Yojimbo, and so far George looks like a pretty cool guy with a very uncool name. I also like the directing style of the static backgrounded close ups throughout the episode. Will definitely keep watching |

| Fairly interesting start. I've never seen the movie "Yojimbo" so I'm curious how the show will play out. Judging by the individual episode scores, doesn't look like things will pick up until #6 or so. |

| This town is full of strange types. Interesting animation direction here, such as use of the fake static effect to highlight characters against the background. Obviously doesn't have the highest budget in the industry, but doesn't look bad by any means. |
