| Aw man, I really liked this episode! It was so cool to see how Tamaki and Kyoya's friendship kind of... blossomed. And I enjoyed seeing Kyoya's sister, she seems nice and it's kinda cute to see that Kyoya has someone who cares for him a lot (and vice versa) Also, jesus, that last shot with the painting outside the frame... a beautiful painting AND a beautiful metaphor. Seriously, probably one of my favourite shots in the entire show? |

| Kyoya is awesome lol. My opinion on him just shot up even higher after this episode and the the flashbacks on pre-tamaki always seem to interest me lots and I love it And once again, seeing Tamaki in these character flashbacks never get old lol. Great episode |

| Unbelievable. After 16 years I still tear up at this episode. Growing up I really loved Kyoya, and up until this episode I had no idea why. But this episode showed it again. Damn that was great. The last painting scene reference still hits hard. |

| We finally get the episode about how Kyoya met Tamaki and formed the Host Club. It’s one of the best episodes in the show and it’s amazing how they started as friends, Kyoya initially just became friends with him just so he could have another business associate but Tamaki on the other hand wanted to be a genuine friend with him. I love how even when Kyoya got to his boiling point and let it known that Tamaki was annoying him at the end, the latter himself stood his ground and actually gave him advice on how to proceed in his life. Because he could obviously that Kyoya’s life was troubling him and just wanted to reassure him. Tamaki might not be the smartest around but damn does he know how to be nice to people. Even Kyoya’s siblings loved his piano playing. Only two more episodes left now. Only two more episode left. |
