Just out of curiosity but if you were stuck as a player in Btooom! and had to fight your way off the island, what BIM would you choose and why?

Information here on some of the BIM used in the series.

My aim sucks so I'll go for the weapon of mass destruction. Blazing Gas BIM all the way.

So what would you choose Stark700?

Remote Control BIM (your vote)

I used to play a lot of RTS games (still do occasionally) so I think it would be more of my type. I'd like to use strategies to win the game and get the hell out of that island.

I was never very good at strategy. Would you mind having allies to help you out?

In Btooom! or RTS games in general?

In the anime series, I wouldn't trust anyone but myself.

In RTS games (Warcraft III, Stacraft II, AOE III) , I almost always trust in my allies (if it's a team match) as if they go down, I pretty much go down with them unless I can pull something a serious turn around. So ye, I'd help them when needed or possible.

It's not impossible to win a team match in RTS on your own but pretty damn hard. I've seen it before (a few times in 4-4 matches) but it's very difficult.

Btooom! on the other hand, is pretty much every man for themselves so..

So you don't care about anyone else in BTooom, but you're loyal in RTS games.

I guess I have to try and avoid you in BToom if I want to survive.

Well, it's not like I don't care anyone else in Btooom but would probably not trust them as much as I do in a team based RTS game since in Btooom (I'm referring the anime series' game here), it's everyone for themselves. An individual has to collect 7 of those chips on their own based on individual basis rather than as a team. collectively.

Remote Control...about as close to C4 as you are going to get. Far more practical than alot of the other BIM's.

Implosion type seems to be the most cool, with the sucking black hole and stuff...
My pick.
I mainly see the animes... so don't blame me for not knowing about the Manga/LN

Blazing gas because it's OP, doesn't really matter though since you get given a random BMI.

The homing one would be ideal because I can reduce a lot of the risk factors. Take advantage of the night vision is grants you and ambush people from advantageous positions.

Throwing something requires a bit of practice to get used to the feel of the object and the weight of it.

Blazing gas would be a second choice but I must admit I would be afraid of misreading the wind and killing myself with it. Alternatively, sometimes it just won't be useable.

Think people are choosing the remote control because they don't want to be involved in the fight head on.

I'll take the implosions, why? Because they look bad ass when they explode.

The homing BIM seems pretty soft, however, using them stealthily without detection would prove to be very useful for winning chips and more BIM. Seems straight-forward as well. Not too sure about the strategies with other BIM other than timer and remote though.

Timer BIMs, because of its versatility, it can be used as both trap and cracker BIMs depends on how long you set up the timer. It's also the third in Area of Damage so far (behind Gas BIMs and Flame BIMs)

^This.

If you can get the timer BIMs to 1-2 seconds, it's basically a cracker BIM. And if you want to be strategic about it, just set it to various times -- like 3-5 seconds if you want to use it on a trailing enemy or have it at just 10 seconds to use it like a mine BIM. Of course, you gotta have good timing, but if you do, it's probably the most useful in any given situation.

Implosion would be used primary as a close combat type like cracker BIM since it has to basically stick to the target to cause damage. However, it's cool as a silent kill, since it makes no sound. You can use it to do covert operation.

It could be more better IF they used any firearms instead of only BIMS.

Anyway I prefer Remote BIM.

Not many people choose Homing BIMs, makes it look like the idea of heat-seeking missiles is not cool enough :), or maybe because of the little baseball actions Sakamoto and Himiko pulled in the last episodes? Lol

Blazing Gas. Not all that effective if the enemy just runs out of it's range, but they would be cool to have.

Remote. :D

It can also kinda work like crackers if you throw it at someone and detonate it when it's flying close to them.

i would choose crackers because its easier to get your target. i would have picked timers or blazing gas but timers have a draw back with the time and blazing gas could turn back on you depending on the wind.

Timed because of it's versatility (as others said) since I have an awful arm for throwing I could just roll it stealthily if no one was looking e.e

Implosion BIM because you can just stick it on someone and than when it sets off, it looks like a portal to another dimension, plus I just love to see how the person affected by it just automatically dies in the most gruesome way.

Blazing Gas BIM

It is amazing kills like everything

If you mix it with Homing BIM like prefect

Homing BIM be my second pick(I mean they will almost always hit)

No risk with it just let it go it is weaker but I hope to pickup something else quickly

Sucks shit up and blows it!!!!

The implosions!

It's basically a homing bomb but the explosion is a lot bigger!
So even if you can't aim, it's a good choice.
